 Saints, Sinners, and Secrets

S1 E2: The Book of Belonging This episode focuses on Taylor’s struggles after her arrest and the difficulties of being pregnant again while navigating her fractured relationships. Dakota, her partner, has moved in with her, but Taylor feels uncertain about marriage and abandoned by her former friends, who are debating whether to exclude her from MomTok. Taylor’s baby shower highlights the tension, as she feels judged by both her friends and family. Meanwhile, Whitney grapples with a controversial brand deal promoting vibrators, dividing opinions among the group. Whitney ultimately skips Taylor's baby shower, which intensifies the rift between her and Taylor.

S1 E3: The Book of Saints & Sinners The divide between the "Saints" and "Sinners" in MomTok deepens. Whitney’s absence from Taylor's baby shower creates further tension, and Mayci and Mikayla speculate that Whitney avoided it to seek attention. At a party Jenn throws for her husband, the group’s differing values become even more apparent when Jessi and Jordan bring alcohol to a Mormon household, upsetting the more devout members like Jenn, Mayci, and Whitney. Demi and Jessi feel judged when they’re excluded from Jenn's baby’s blessing. The rift between the Saints and Sinners grows, leading to Demi's frustration at a Galentine’s Day party when Whitney makes an inappropriate joke involving Fruity Pebbles, upsetting Demi. The episode ends with the Sinners going bowling on the day of Jenn's baby blessing, symbolizing the divide.

S1 E4: The Book of Truth During Mayci’s birthday trip, the group tries to repair the growing rift. However, tensions rise when Demi introduces a "truth box" that sparks confrontational conversations. Whitney admits her jealousy of Taylor's ability to be forgiven, while Demi’s earlier comment calling Taylor "white trash" comes to light, creating more conflict. Whitney is asked to reveal her least favorite person in the group, and she names Demi, further straining their relationship. As the group attempts to reconcile, Whitney ends up feeling isolated and breaks down emotionally. Despite the effort to mend their bonds, unresolved tensions linger as the group prepares for dinner.

We Wine Whenever (00:00.99)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever. I'm Wendy.

Kelli (00:03.839)
Kelly.

We Wine Whenever (00:04.839)
and I'm Lori.

We Wine Whenever (00:06.946)
We are talking about the secret lives of Mormon wives. Episode two is called the Book of Belongings.

We Wine Whenever (00:47.671)
and we start with 11 months after Taylor's arrest. And she says it was the worst night of her life when she was charged with aggravated assaults and she was sentenced to three years of probation and it is a long time. And her and Dakota never broke up at this point. They have stayed in the relationship.

Kelli (01:05.044)
long time.

We Wine Whenever (01:14.784)
What I think is interesting is that it was 11 months after the arrest. So if she only got three years probation, why did they take 11 months to start filming again?

Kelli (01:28.287)
Well, she did say that she's now at the point where she can check in every six months. So maybe before that she was checking in every week and maybe she wasn't allowed to film before that.

We Wine Whenever (01:42.286)
that could be. Yeah, that could be. And then we see Macy, Michaela and Whitney, go out for tea and they're talking about Taylor being pregnant again. And she's isolated herself from her friends and she thinks that, they say that she thinks with her vagina, not her heart. I mean,

Kelli (01:45.395)
Yeah.

Kelli (02:04.541)
Whitney is clearly trying to ice Taylor out.

We Wine Whenever (02:04.818)
Well,

We Wine Whenever (02:07.049)
Yeah, I don't think that's nice. I don't like Whitney. I don't like the way she treats people. I really don't.

Kelli (02:14.761)
Didn't Taylor start this with two other girls who were not on the show?

We Wine Whenever (02:20.137)
Taylor did start it. It was definitely Taylor who was starting it.

Kelli (02:21.415)
Okay. Yeah, so who the hell are you Whitney to come in here and try to take it over?

We Wine Whenever (02:26.675)
Yeah. and they're talking about how they want to exclude her from mom talk and Whitney thinks they need to protect their livelihood that Taylor's going to jeopardize that in some way, but like you said,

We Wine Whenever (02:26.91)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (02:41.612)
but your secretly gay husband isn't?

We Wine Whenever (02:44.361)
Yeah. Well, that still is not confirmed.

Kelli (02:47.366)
it's confirmed. I'm confirming it right here and now.

We Wine Whenever (02:50.174)
Kelly, Kelly's confirming it. just in case anyone was curious and wanted to know. Yeah. She's got the 411 on that. knows.

We Wine Whenever (02:50.282)
Okay.

Kelli (02:52.861)
You heard it here first, folks.

Kelli (02:59.125)
Hmm.

Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (03:03.262)
And then we see Leanne, she's shopping with Taylor. Leanne's Taylor's mom and they're going shopping for her for the baby. But Taylor doesn't really want to buy anything because she wants to just wait and see what she gets at her baby shower. And that's when she tells her mom about the probation. You know, she doesn't have to check in as often as she did. And she tells her mom that Dakota is talking about marriage, but she's not really there just yet. She's not really sure that she wants to get married.

And she doesn't know what to do since the arrest because she lost a lot of her friends. And I don't, I guess they, weren't there for her because of the arrest, but I think her real friends are still going to be there for her. And I, yeah, yes, I would. So then we see the girls, they're at Macy's house and they're making the TikToks and they're saying that they need to keep it going because they're the breadwinners in the family and they're the ones that are supporting the family.

Kelli (03:46.963)
You would hope, though.

We Wine Whenever (04:01.353)
and they start talking about different brand deals that they have. And I was surprised how much they're getting for these brand deals. I didn't realize it was that much money for a post.

We Wine Whenever (04:13.854)
It's no joke. It's no joke.

Kelli (04:14.993)
They're saying they're the breadwinners. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (04:16.881)
Yeah, it's big money. It's big money. And they're talking about like, what's the weirdest brand deal you were offered? And one was for diapers. And then Whitney is telling them about this deal she has been offered about selling vibrators. And she's going to get $20,000 for it. And she just has to take a picture with it. And it's not like she's demonstrating it.

Kelli (04:44.551)
Is she a practicing Mormon though?

We Wine Whenever (04:47.751)
yes. Yes.

We Wine Whenever (04:47.905)
Whitney. Yes, Whitney is a practicing Mormon.

Kelli (04:50.581)
So that can't be good, right?

We Wine Whenever (04:53.79)
No. But I have a question. So I want to add there to you both. If somebody offered you $20,000, would you do a dildo commercial?

We Wine Whenever (04:54.534)
Well,

We Wine Whenever (04:58.481)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (05:09.371)
Well, it's not a commercial, it's a picture holding it, absolutely.

We Wine Whenever (05:11.846)
I'm saying, you know what I'm saying. You would? I would.

Kelli (05:13.493)
I'll be honest with you, I wouldn't right now as a CCD teacher. I wouldn't. I couldn't.

We Wine Whenever (05:20.914)
Yeah, I just went and it's just not my, not my gig. I just.

We Wine Whenever (05:23.941)
You know what? I think about it. I probably wouldn't, because my kids, my boys would be like mortified. Are you kidding me? No. 20,000 is not enough. No, I wouldn't do it either. No.

We Wine Whenever (05:28.956)
Yeah, no, yeah, I just, I just wouldn't do it. Uh-uh, no. 50, 50, okay.

Kelli (05:34.421)
20,000 is not enough. honestly, I wouldn't do it for that reason. I am a CCD teacher and I think, I certainly wouldn't be able to do it after that.

We Wine Whenever (05:47.162)
I mean if you think about it.

Why though? mean, it's a vibrator. It's

Kelli (05:52.553)
Because that's, yeah, but it's not that masturbation's not looked on, you know, you're not supposed to do that.

We Wine Whenever (05:58.418)
favorably.

We Wine Whenever (06:01.678)
Is that in the Bible?

Kelli (06:03.229)
I don't know if it's in the Bible, but it's definitely in the, what do I have? it's, it's definitely not, you're not supposed to do that.

We Wine Whenever (06:12.102)
It's not in the handbook for CCD.

We Wine Whenever (06:12.902)
I mean, is that, but wait a second.

Kelli (06:16.829)
I'll go get the book I have and I'm pretty sure it says it right in it.

We Wine Whenever (06:18.264)
No, no, no, wait, I just want to break this down. So, Lori, what is going on? It's making all this noise.

We Wine Whenever (06:25.126)
I don't know, I'm just sitting here. I don't know what to say to you.

Kelli (06:29.851)
and one more thing before I forget. When we talked about Salt Lake City and Mormon wives, the episode we did when it was a Salt Lake City one, Lori wasn't on it yet. In the Catholic religion, it is God first, then your spouse, then your children. That is the lineup that we are supposed to be following.

We Wine Whenever (06:33.136)
Okay.

We Wine Whenever (06:43.134)
you

We Wine Whenever (06:53.286)
Nothing.

We Wine Whenever (06:53.295)
Interesting.

Okay, so my question is, I want to break this down. So in the Book of Mormon or the Bible or Christianity, so I know sex before marriage is frowned upon, right? That's not allowed. And masturbation is not allowed either?

Kelli (07:11.413)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (07:16.693)
I have a book, I could go get it.

We Wine Whenever (07:17.638)
It's definitely frowned upon. It is definitely frowned upon.

Kelli (07:20.617)
Yes.

We Wine Whenever (07:21.892)
You're not allowed to have pleasure.

We Wine Whenever (07:25.286)
Well, they've no, it should be that.

Kelli (07:25.449)
I guess not self-inflicted.

We Wine Whenever (07:27.59)
Well, you're not allowed to have it with others either unless you're married. You're not allowed to have pleasure unless you're married, or you're not even allowed to have pleasure when you're married. It's only for procreation. Is that what it is? Is that it?

Kelli (07:37.526)
That's it. Yes, yeah, that's what sex is for. Okay.

We Wine Whenever (07:37.784)
No.

We Wine Whenever (07:46.394)
this is interesting to me.

Kelli (07:47.517)
The Bible doesn't explicitly mention masturbation, but it does offer advice on how to live a virtuous and chastity life. Some Christians believe that God asks people to wait on him and trust him and that masturbation is a way to demonstrate this trust. They may also believe that the pleasures of this life will be laughable compared to the joys of meeting Jesus in eternity.

We Wine Whenever (08:12.638)
which really doesn't give an answer either way.

We Wine Whenever (08:15.53)
No, no, it doesn't. I don't know. Okay, let's move on. I'm tired of talking about this.

We Wine Whenever (08:18.738)
I don't know. Okay. Well, but I do want to bring this up because, know, when the show first starts, there's a bunch of hashtags. Did you guys ever notice that? When they do the credits for the show, when it first starts, there's a bunch of hashtags that run through the screen. And one of those is soaking. And I was wondering if you ladies have heard of this in regards to Mormons.

Kelli (08:33.532)
No.

Kelli (08:47.668)
No?

We Wine Whenever (08:48.859)
yes, I know all about soaking and surfing. You don't know about soaking?

We Wine Whenever (08:50.514)
You know, it's a no-baster. And there's, there's derfing, there's gazing, and there's docking. Okay. Would you like me to tell you what they

Kelli (08:51.966)
What's soaking?

We Wine Whenever (08:59.146)
Yes, yes, yes, I know all about them.

Kelli (09:03.389)
Okay, Lori, can you tell me what these are?

We Wine Whenever (09:05.86)
I can tell you. soaking, soaking I knew of before this show because my daughter told me about it. Soaking is now I'm going to read this because I had my daughter look these up and write this information down for us. So per her writing, soaking is putting a shlong in and someone jumps on the bed. So, you know,

We Wine Whenever (09:06.636)
Go ahead, Laura. It's all you. Go ahead.

We Wine Whenever (09:31.998)
No, that's surfing. No, that's surfing. Soaking is you put it in and you don't move it. Surfing is you put it in, you don't move it, but someone jumps on the bed so that it moves.

We Wine Whenever (09:46.269)
So that it moves. you're not, that's like there are how to get around.

Kelli (09:49.811)
What's the point of this?

We Wine Whenever (09:53.19)
It's just they're weird.

We Wine Whenever (09:53.73)
I mean, these are their workarounds. These, not having sex. No, not in there, not in there. These are their workarounds. Everyone has a workaround. You know how we do our caveats? This is their caveat. These are their caveats. These are their workarounds.

Kelli (09:56.969)
Workarounds for what though if it goes in that's set

We Wine Whenever (10:02.876)
Nope, not in their mind. Yeah. So,

Kelli (10:11.721)
Yes, I miss our caveats. We need to bring back the would you rathers.

We Wine Whenever (10:11.954)
Yes, that's the clavius.

We Wine Whenever (10:17.096)
Yes.

Yeah. Docking is just putting the penis in, no movement. Gazing is members of the opposite sex gather and stare at each other and then they turn the lights off, they get nude and they turn the lights on really quick and look at each other and then turn the lights off again.

Kelli (10:22.419)
hysterical.

We Wine Whenever (10:46.974)
Yes, I want you to notice them.

We Wine Whenever (10:47.563)
Yeah.

Kelli (10:49.919)
I never noticed these hashtags, but I will now.

We Wine Whenever (10:51.872)
No, they explained it. I heard them talk about it. They talked about it on a couple of different podcasts I heard them on. They were on Sheena's podcast. They were on Heather McDonald's podcast. Like they talked about these terms on these podcasts and they explained them.

We Wine Whenever (11:12.592)
I love Kelly's face.

Kelli (11:13.141)
Interesting.

We Wine Whenever (11:14.08)
Yeah.

Kelli (11:16.496)
I mean...

We Wine Whenever (11:20.738)
Yeah, Yeah, there's really, there's really not that much to say at this point. All right, so then after that, after the shopping for the baby stuff that she's not interested in getting, because she's going to get in her shower, the girls are at Macy's, wait, I told you that. So they're talking about, should she do the vibrator commercial, right? And they have mixed feelings on it. You know, they all give their opinion. Some say yes, some say it's not enough money and others say there's no way I would do it.

Kelli (11:21.095)
Okay. I don't what to say.

We Wine Whenever (11:22.277)
Okay.

We Wine Whenever (11:26.524)
nothing

Kelli (11:27.826)
Not much to say.

We Wine Whenever (11:51.81)
So then Macy and Jen, they say that they would not ever promote a sex brand. Layla admits she has never had an orgasm at this point. Now she's married and divorced with children and has never had an orgasm. Layla is 22. She got married when she was 19. She was married for three years and now she's divorced. She has two kids. She grew up in Utah and all of her friends are Mormon.

Kelli (12:02.076)
or Layla.

We Wine Whenever (12:19.97)
At 16, she decided to get baptized in the church. Being black in the church, you stick out like a sore thumb, she said. So she, you know, her friends were Mormon, she wanted to belong and you know, that's what she did. A little bit about Jen, Jen Affleck, who is 24 and married to Zach and

Kelli (12:35.765)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (12:44.63)
They say at this time he's the second cousin to Ben Affleck, but we all know that that is not true. There's no validity to that. no, and that she's no, there's none. they are, they are. Well, that is still her name. I mean, that's his name.

Kelli (12:50.555)
there's not?

We Wine Whenever (12:50.834)
No, there's not.

Kelli (12:54.581)
but they're still calling her Jen Affleck on the show?

We Wine Whenever (13:00.112)
It's still her name.

Kelli (13:00.639)
I know, but I don't think there's a necessity for the last name to be shown every time she's on our screen anymore since they're not related. Her last name means absolutely nothing. It could be Smith for all we care right now.

We Wine Whenever (13:06.854)
No, they're not really.

We Wine Whenever (13:08.052)
No they're not.

We Wine Whenever (13:12.78)
Well, I would hope for season two we stop seeing her last name.

Kelli (13:15.537)
Let's fingers crossed, man, fingers crossed.

We Wine Whenever (13:19.496)
Well, I just want to say this real quick. I just think it's kind of weird. Like, your husband has like a porn addiction and now you want to like hook vibrators. Like, isn't it kind of like, I don't know. To me, that was just like odd.

Kelli (13:33.235)
Yeah, they're- cause they're both full of shit.

It's a weird arranged marriage. They're probably not having sex with each other other than to have the kids that they have. They're probably not having sex with each other. So she's probably like, yes, let me do this post so I can get my hands on a vibrator and not get caught like ordering one for myself. And he's like, yeah, get the vibrator because I'm gonna go watch male porn.

We Wine Whenever (13:50.144)
your prop.

We Wine Whenever (13:58.842)
Maybe. There you go.

We Wine Whenever (14:06.048)
Okay. That's his work around.

We Wine Whenever (14:06.618)
Maybe.

Kelli (14:10.525)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (14:10.886)
Yeah, that's his brick line.

We Wine Whenever (14:13.41)
So then we see Taylor's parents go over to her house and Taylor tells them that Dakota is moving in today and that she's, you know, she's not, she's not really interested in getting married and her mom and dad are not happy about this. And then he shows up with his pickup truck in a box and okay, here he is ready to move in. Like she gave them.

We Wine Whenever (14:37.789)
move in yeah

We Wine Whenever (14:39.86)
Yeah, she gave them no notice and he shows up with his one box. No, they weren't. Like, listen, you've already gotten divorced now and basically they're saying like, you already have, you're already pregnant with another man and you're not gonna get married. Like basically they're saying like, how many baby daddies are gonna have without saying that.

Kelli (14:45.897)
parents were not happy.

Kelli (15:04.307)
Right, but do you feel like they were like a little bit pushing her like aren't you gonna get married? Aren't you gonna get married? Like again, back to that mentality of the Mormon church, like you need a man, you need a man.

We Wine Whenever (15:17.82)
Well, like we saw on Salt Lake City, if you don't have that, you are not gonna get into heaven.

We Wine Whenever (15:17.923)
Well yeah, that's how they feel.

Kelli (15:22.782)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (15:27.388)
So it's a goal.

We Wine Whenever (15:28.182)
Right, right, right. It's more important than your children. You need to have a man.

Yeah, not good.

like it when Dakota walks in and Taylor's dad says, you you knocked up my daughter. I was like, that's straight to the point.

Kelli (15:54.143)
He's her stepdad, isn't he? But still. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (15:55.66)
I think he is her stepdad. Yeah, yeah, you you knocked at my daughter and you know, like, what's your plan? And he wants to get married and she doesn't. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And Lee Ann also says like, listen, I really would like you to consider marriage, you know, like she's also encouraging Taylor to go back to church because at this point she's not going to church. And I think that's yet another reason why she wants her to get married so that the church

We Wine Whenever (16:04.136)
Stay in.

Kelli (16:06.185)
Right, right.

Kelli (16:20.03)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (16:25.41)
may accept her.

Kelli (16:28.223)
Well, yeah, because after the whole swinging thing, she's got a lot of strikes against her.

We Wine Whenever (16:32.727)
Right.

She does, she certainly does. And then we see Taylor, she meets up with Macy and she's saying that she's afraid to see everyone at the baby shower. And Macy's saying she feels like the Taylor takes all the accountability for Dakota. Like she's always making excuses for him.

Kelli (16:52.447)
Yeah, she doesn't like a Macy.

We Wine Whenever (16:54.186)
No, because she's seen how he treats her and

Kelli (16:57.277)
And she told her that she wanted to walk out two weeks before she said she was pregnant.

We Wine Whenever (17:01.6)
Right, right, exactly. So this is her friend that she confides in who she tells, you know, what's really going on. So of course, Macy's going to feel a way about him. And then of course, Taylor's going to try and make excuses for him because, right, because she's still on the fence and now she's pregnant. So she's kind of stuck.

Kelli (17:10.931)
Yeah.

Kelli (17:16.373)
She's gonna defend him.

We Wine Whenever (17:26.988)
But then she does say that things have gotten much better. Taylor says that, you know, two weeks, things have gotten better, but how long is that going to last? And then we see Whitney go over to her mom's house and her sister Lexi's there and she wants to bring up the whole, I want to do the vibrator commercial, you know, ad. And her mom and sister are like, no.

Kelli (17:35.902)
Right.

Kelli (17:58.921)
Yeah, that whole scene was interesting with her and her sister and her mother,

We Wine Whenever (18:02.528)
It was. mean, Whitney does say like, you shouldn't feel shame in feeling pleasure, which is kind of what we were just talking about. Like, why are you not allowed to have pleasure? I mean, she's right. In that respect, I think she's right.

Kelli (18:16.501)
She is right. think, and I don't feel this way personally, but I think that there's rules with religion because I guess it can be a slippery slope for somebody with an addictive personality, with some personality trait where they can fall down a rabbit hole of becoming a sex addict or a cheater. That's just what I'm, I don't believe that. I believe everyone deserves to feel pleasure, obviously.

but I think that's why, you know, think about when these laws were written for the, these religions, Mormonism and know, Christianity it's thousands and thousands of years ago where people, know.

We Wine Whenever (19:02.811)
Yeah. But listen, don't think she's wrong in what she's saying. Like you shouldn't feel shame in feeling pleasure. But then, you know, her mother says, know, Whitney kind of calls out her mom. She's like, listen, you never even talked to me about sex. She's like, my wedding night was a horror show. And her mom makes the excuse, well, I had a baby at the time, so like, I didn't have time to tell you. Come on.

Kelli (19:08.017)
No, for sure, for sure. Right.

We Wine Whenever (19:20.894)
Aww.

Kelli (19:25.503)
Well, also your husband's gay, so that could have had something to do with your wedding night being a disaster.

We Wine Whenever (19:28.562)
Are you sure he is? Like you're really going hard for this.

We Wine Whenever (19:30.472)
Kelly's not gonna give it up. Kelly's not gonna give it up.

Kelli (19:34.642)
my god.

We Wine Whenever (19:36.552)
Kelly's not giving it up, man.

Kelli (19:39.303)
I'm not, I'm not, I'm falling on the sword for this one. I'm falling on my sword for this one. I'm sticking to it.

We Wine Whenever (19:43.794)
You stick into it. That's it.

We Wine Whenever (19:44.55)
Okay.

All right.

But again, she's blaming her mother. listen, I don't think that's right either. You know, her mother did the best she could do. So your mom didn't teach you about sex and now you're gonna sell vibrators? I mean, what? Like, where's the correlation? It doesn't make sense to me.

We Wine Whenever (20:02.076)
Yeah, why?

Kelli (20:02.813)
Right. Right.

We Wine Whenever (20:05.722)
Make it make sense. So then Taylor and Dakota, they're talking about the baby shower and he asks how Macy is and if she's still talking shit about him because we know that Macy doesn't like him because Taylor tells her all her deep dark secrets. And Taylor says, listen, she's very protective of me. I can fight in her. she feels like that, Taylor feels like she's screwed up like with mom talk two times already.

Kelli (20:06.949)
Exactly. Make it make sense.

We Wine Whenever (20:07.454)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (20:35.868)
First with the swinging scandal and then with the arrest and you know, she doesn't want to lose this because this is her livelihood, right? This is what's paying the bills.

Kelli (20:45.705)
Right. I felt like Dakota was way too invested in how Macy felt about him. And it gave me like Louis Brooks vibes. For sure. Like he's gonna have, he's gonna feel a certain way and he's gonna let her know. And then it's gonna cause tension between her and her friend and May eventually end the friendship. Or he's gonna try at least.

We Wine Whenever (20:56.028)
Yeah. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (21:09.254)
Yeah, yeah, I see that. I mean, I definitely can see that happening with him because that's his kind of personality. The next we see Layla and Whitney, hanging out with their children at the Himalayan salt room. Have you ever done a salt room?

We Wine Whenever (21:25.776)
I always wanted to.

Kelli (21:26.685)
No, but there's one right across the street from the salon. And it... yeah.

We Wine Whenever (21:29.87)
Is there? I've done it. I've done it a couple times. So there's one right here in brick.

Kelli (21:34.813)
Yes, it's right on Maniloking Road, right in the same storefront as Justin's Barbershop, right across the street from All Diled Up. I wanna try it.

We Wine Whenever (21:43.28)
Yes, we should do it. It's so good. It's so good for your sinuses. It's so good for your sinuses. Yeah, it's really good. And it just has healing properties to inhale it. Because that's basically what you're doing when you're sitting in the salt room. we should, listen, this is what I do. We should look for a Groupon because I don't like to, I don't like to, and the time that I've done it, I've done it twice or three times. I always had a Groupon and the one place I went to was in WALL.

We Wine Whenever (21:43.476)
Let's go!

Kelli (21:45.749)
What is the benefit of it? I need that.

Kelli (22:03.027)
Yeah!

We Wine Whenever (22:03.332)
Yes, that's what it goes on.

We Wine Whenever (22:10.312)
Go girl.

We Wine Whenever (22:13.176)
And they did like reflexology in the Himalayan salt room. they like massaged my feet in one of those zero gravity chairs. Yeah, so maybe we can look for that. All right, we're doing that. Okay, we're gonna do it.

We Wine Whenever (22:16.734)
Woo!

Kelli (22:22.997)
Yes, let's do it. Yeah, I'll look tomorrow. think they brought over, because they're new, they're new-er. I think they brought some pamphlets over to the salon. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (22:26.662)
I'm down. I'm down. All right.

We Wine Whenever (22:38.564)
Okay. Yeah, I definitely would love to do that again, because it's definitely, I could feel it immediately because I am always, my sinuses are always stuffed up. So I definitely think we should do that. So Whitney is saying that she's not going to Taylor's baby shower when they're there talking and Layla's like, well, like, don't you want to be friends with her? And she's basically, no, I'm not going to go there. No. Yeah, I'm good. Yeah, she could do her. I'm good over here.

We Wine Whenever (22:38.598)
Kelli (22:47.444)
Yeah.

Kelli (23:02.923)
It's like almost that.

But she doesn't tell Taylor she's not going to the baby shower.

We Wine Whenever (23:09.882)
Right. She does not tell Taylor. And then we see what happens. So everyone shows up at the baby shower except for Whitney. And Taylor's like, where's Whitney? And Layla knows the truth. And she says, listen, she's not coming. So then Taylor runs over and tells her mom that Whitney's not coming. then Whitney or Taylor's mom, Leanne, picks up the phone and calls Whitney, which I'm didn't, that's like, come on.

Kelli (23:35.637)
Gangster.

We Wine Whenever (23:37.192)
that was not, that's not cool. that's not cool though. no. that's like high school.

Kelli (23:38.239)
That's gangster.

We Wine Whenever (23:39.996)
That's not cool. That's... That's like...

Kelli (23:41.397)
thought it was great.

I think Rose Riley would have done the same fucking thing.

We Wine Whenever (23:47.41)
That's so funny.

Kelli (23:49.759)
BAM you would have been all over that shit.

We Wine Whenever (23:52.806)
You know what? I'm not going to lie. My mother would, my mother would have too. I gotta say my mother would have too.

Kelli (23:53.76)
You

We Wine Whenever (23:57.723)
Ugh.

Kelli (23:58.669)
Except my mother would have been like, where the fuck are you? What's the problem?

We Wine Whenever (24:02.93)
Yeah. Yeah, what's your problem? Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (24:03.578)
you

Kelli (24:06.175)
Do you have a problem? Do we have a problem?

We Wine Whenever (24:08.894)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (24:09.35)
listen, I think Whitney handled it well. She's like, listen, this is a conversation between her and Taylor. I'm not going to explain to you why I'm not there. You know, so kudos for her on that. So the next episode is episode number three, and that's called the book of saints and sinners. And that's where we get to see the real divide. So there's eight women essentially, and the, I have it.

Kelli (24:16.895)
She did handle it well.

We Wine Whenever (24:37.05)
at some point here. I have a group of the saints in the center. So, Macy.

Kelli (24:42.463)
Taylor.

We Wine Whenever (24:44.708)
Wait. No, no, Taylor's a sinner. Macy's a saint.

Kelli (24:45.011)
Macy's gotta be with Taylor now.

Kelli (24:51.069)
Macy went on Whitney's side?

We Wine Whenever (24:53.304)
No, but we'll get there. We're not there yet. So then we see next we see Macy, Michaela and Whitney. They're hanging out for the first time since Taylor's shower. And Michaela and Macy think that Whitney wanted to be the center of attention. That's why she didn't go to the shower, which I 100 % agree.

Kelli (24:55.382)
okay.

Kelli (25:06.965)
Yeah, it's the same reason Alexa sent the flowers to Shannon's lunch and Teresa sent the bottle of whiskey to the Gorgas. Here we go again.

We Wine Whenever (25:09.626)
Exactly. Right.

Yes, exactly. Then we hear that Zach's Zach's, his family, he graduated from college. He graduated from BYU and Jen is throwing him a graduation party, but it's at his family's house, which I don't know why, but for whatever reason it's at his family's house. And everyone's going, he's going to be going off to medical school and his family is not paying for it.

So Jen tells us a little bit about her history. She didn't grow up with money, but Zach's family did. They're all doctors. And as a matter of fact, her mom is from Ecuador and she doesn't really speak English very well. And she works at the same hospital that his father does and she's a cleaning lady and he's a surgeon. So that tells you exactly where she stands in this whole family. And honestly, I feel bad for her. I feel bad for her in this whole situation.

She is the one who is supporting him right now. And she is the one who's paying for him to go to medical school because they don't want to take his family's money because there will be strings attached. So good for her. You know, good for her for being able to do that. But I'll be honest with you, I'm not really loving Zach and I don't think she should be doing it for him.

We Wine Whenever (26:34.686)
How could you?

We Wine Whenever (26:35.303)
We'll get there. mean, we're not really there yet. Yeah. Yeah. So Whitney, Jen and Macy are the most devout Mormons. So it's Whitney, Jen and Macy. They don't drink. Taylor tries to talk to Whitney before she leaves. Whitney says, I don't want to talk to Taylor. So three of them don't drink at all. Yeah. Three of them don't drink at all. And then we see Jesse and Jordan.

Kelli (26:55.317)
I guess I that part.

We Wine Whenever (27:02.845)
and they're in the hot tub outside of the party. Yes, yes. And he's got the flask and they're drinking alcohol in the hot tub. And everyone is saying that that's very disrespectful.

Kelli (27:04.605)
Is that her husband Jordan? Jesse?

We Wine Whenever (27:18.206)
Well, I saw a thing that said, Jesse and Michaela are not Mormons. That they grew up as Mormons, but they are not Mormons. So that's why she's drinking in the hot tub. If she's not a Mormon.

Kelli (27:36.415)
They left the church.

We Wine Whenever (27:38.375)
Well, Jessie, did hear on a podcast, she said that she's, she's a non-practicing Mormon and that's fine. And she also on that same, right on that same podcast, she kind of clarified what happened in this hot tub. So they, after this party, they were all going out to hang out. The ones that drink and party, they were all going out to hang out afterwards. They were just there for a short amount of time. And this was kind of like them pre-gaming, which is something that they do normally, but it didn't come off that way.

Kelli (27:43.229)
Okay. Yeah. So that makes sense.

We Wine Whenever (27:43.826)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (28:08.583)
And there was no disrespect to men. she, like her and Jordan didn't mean to disrespect Zach's family, but that's just what they do.

Kelli (28:17.226)
Right.

mean, did they expect nobody to drink at all?

We Wine Whenever (28:24.721)
Well, they don't drink at all. Zach's family does not drink and Jen doesn't drink.

We Wine Whenever (28:26.695)
I go.

Kelli (28:27.537)
Right, but did they expect nobody else to because it was their home? I guess they do.

We Wine Whenever (28:32.514)
Yeah, I guess they do. Yeah, I mean, it'd be like if you went to a kosher home, you know, you can't show up with bacon.

We Wine Whenever (28:32.669)
I think so.

We Wine Whenever (28:39.794)
Right now. Yeah.

Kelli (28:39.975)
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

We Wine Whenever (28:40.775)
Right?

So.

I think it's interesting though, because then after this, we see Michaela, Macy, and Whitney and Jen, they all go to the spa to get Botox. So, Jen and Whitney and Macy, who are supposedly the Mormons, you know, the stricter Mormons, can get Botox and get laughing gas. Because they get laughing gas before they get the Botox so they don't feel the needle. It's a needle. I mean, come on. So it's okay to do drugs and get

cosmetic procedures, but you can't feel pleasure and you can't drink alcohol. Like I feel like, and I don't like to criticize religion, but I feel like there's a lot of hypocrisy going on here. Yeah.

Kelli (29:28.287)
feel like they're making it up as they go along. Like, like obviously Botox wasn't a thing 50 years ago, so now they're like, okay, no, you could do that.

We Wine Whenever (29:28.814)
yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So.

We Wine Whenever (29:38.789)
Yeah, but even the caffeine thing, like they can't drink coffee because of the caffeine, but they can drink soda with caffeine in it. They can't drink hot beverages with caffeine, but they can drink cold beverages with caffeine.

Kelli (29:45.897)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (29:46.526)
Yeah, it's a snix.

you

Kelli (29:50.293)
Yeah, you're right. Because it's the whole something you can be get addicted to and soda has caffeine just like coffee.

We Wine Whenever (29:54.732)
Right!

Right. Like it doesn't make any sense.

We Wine Whenever (29:58.278)
Yeah, so actually, the soda is their kind of coffee. And do know that they have they have Mormon soda. So they like to take diet soda, and they mix it with coffee creamer. That's Mormon soda.

Kelli (30:04.969)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (30:17.09)
Well, we see that in the episode. They go to this place where they make their special, there's soda shops all over.

Kelli (30:21.599)
So it's like an iced coffee, but it's just soda.

We Wine Whenever (30:24.764)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (30:24.876)
Well, kind of, but they put all these different flavors in it too. Yeah.

Kelli (30:29.983)
Their stomachs must be tore up. You can't drink that much soda.

We Wine Whenever (30:32.766)
Well, I want to tell you this, that Layla admitted that she drinks 44 ounces of soda six days a week. So that's 264 ounces a week, which equals two gallons of soda a week.

We Wine Whenever (30:56.51)
It's crazy. It's a lot of soda. It's a lot of soda.

We Wine Whenever (30:56.738)
It's a lot of soda.

Kelli (30:57.973)
That's a lot of soda!

We Wine Whenever (31:01.078)
Yeah, that's going to catch up with them. That's going to catch up with them.

Kelli (31:03.925)
For sure.

We Wine Whenever (31:04.367)
most definitely. I gotta have some like dentist bills going on over there because it'll rot your teeth.

We Wine Whenever (31:11.988)
No, it's diet. They only drink diet soda, which is, by the way, even worse. These people that...

We Wine Whenever (31:14.654)
Even worse, right?

Kelli (31:16.583)
Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Their stomachs are, at least coffee's not tearing up the ins... I mean, if you have IBS or something like that, but the sugar and the crap in soda tears up your stomach. I never drink soda. mean, ginger ale when I have a stomach ache, but that's it.

We Wine Whenever (31:33.794)
So then we see Demi goes to Jesse's salon and they're talking about the baby blessing because Jen is having a baby blessing because she just had a baby. And then they, guess this is where they let it known that some of them were not invited to the, they were uninvited to the baby blessing. So after the party at Zach's house and Jesse was drinking the alcohol and

Taylor. This is where they differentiated between sinners and saints. So Macy, Jen, Whitney, and Michaela.

were all invited to the baby blessing. The other four were not invited to the baby blessing because they were not really practicing Mormons and were not as religious as the other ones. So when Demi goes to Jesse's salon and she's telling her about, yes, she heard from Macy that they might not be invited to the baby blessing. So they decide to FaceTime Jen while she's getting her hair done. And Jen is like, well,

We Wine Whenever (32:26.662)
Yeah, they're not good enough moments.

We Wine Whenever (32:44.393)
Listen, Zach said he made the decision. He wasn't, you know, that close with the husbands and you know, this is a sacred event and they don't want that many people. And she's just trying to kind of back, you know, backstep it. And listen, I do feel bad for her because I don't think it was her decision. I do think that her husband, Zach, had a big part in the decision, especially after what had happened at his family's home. And the baby blessing was at his family's home again. So.

Kelli (33:12.319)
Well, that's understandable then. If they felt like it was disrespectful the first time, why would they invite them back? I get it. I mean, I like Jess, but I get it.

We Wine Whenever (33:18.495)
Right. Yes. And so then Demi and Jesse are talking about it, how they feel like they're being judged because they're not good Mormons.

Kelli (33:30.793)
Well, she said she's not a practicing Mormon. So why would you feel a certain way about somebody judging, you know, why would you feel a certain way if somebody doesn't think you're being a good Mormon if you're not a practicing Mormon? It shouldn't matter to you, you're not practicing.

We Wine Whenever (33:45.045)
Well, I think their argument is they were all invited. They were all invited. And then they really weren't uninvited. They really were not uninvited. It was just kind of made it through the grapevine. It just wasn't, it wasn't handled properly. And they feel like they're being judged. And I don't blame them. I mean, I would feel a way about that as well. So then Demi is having a Galentine's party for the girls and her husband Brett is helping her get everything ready.

We Wine Whenever (33:50.386)
They were. Yes, they did, right?

Kelli (33:57.82)
Got it.

We Wine Whenever (34:01.103)
No.

We Wine Whenever (34:14.118)
And Brett is the one who's a lot older who was married to Angie Harrington.

We Wine Whenever (34:21.98)
Yes, and he was on The Bachelor. Yes.

Kelli (34:22.527)
He's good looking.

We Wine Whenever (34:23.849)
Yes, yes, yes, yes. So Whitney, Michaela and Macy are all getting ready together and they're talking about something that Demi had said with her, had happened with her husband and it involves fruity pebbles. They don't tell us exactly what it was, but Whitney then decides that she's going to get this box and she's going to fill it up with fruity pebbles and she's going to bring it to Demi.

Kelli (34:27.017)
He's very good looking.

We Wine Whenever (34:28.766)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (34:53.193)
as gift. And really what she's doing is she's throwing shade and she's going to go bring it to the Galentine's Day party and make Demi feel away about something that she shared with them about her husband that she didn't really want everyone to know about, let alone on national TV. No, but, but still exactly. It was at her house. I mean, her husband was there when they got there.

Kelli (35:10.485)
Were the husbands gonna be there too? No, it was just a girl's thing, but still.

We Wine Whenever (35:22.766)
I don't know where he went, but yeah. But anyway, I wanted to tell you that it was really funny because I watched the episodes the next day on Peacock, right? So, no, on Hulu. I watched it on Hulu. But anyway, there's, they put in a Fruity Pebbles commercial.

We Wine Whenever (35:22.859)
Go ahead, Lore.

We Wine Whenever (35:40.673)
That's where we all watch it. That's where it's at.

Kelli (35:48.041)
No they did not.

We Wine Whenever (35:49.084)
Yes they did. Yes they did. Yes they did. I was laughing hysterically.

Kelli (35:53.427)
And Hulu, what are they, Bravo being shady?

We Wine Whenever (35:55.506)
Yeah, being shady, they put in.

We Wine Whenever (35:57.033)
Listen, they're talking about, they're talking about, yeah.

Kelli (35:59.689)
Was it like a sexual thing with the Froot Loops? It had to be. Fruity Pebbles.

We Wine Whenever (36:02.347)
Fruity Pebbles, Fruity Pebbles. She alluded to them being in her vagina.

We Wine Whenever (36:04.445)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (36:10.078)
you.

Kelli (36:10.773)
feel like that's a little dangerous. I feel like you're playing with fire there, kid. You're looking at some kind of infection or something. Yeah, yeah, we don't, we don't, that's not a smart move to me, Demi, whatever.

We Wine Whenever (36:12.946)
Yeah, no, not good. Yeah, there's a lot of food coloring going on.

We Wine Whenever (36:13.056)
I do too.

We Wine Whenever (36:21.11)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (36:24.742)
And you know what else I thought was interesting was that

We Wine Whenever (36:26.431)
No, was Wit- Well listen, it was Whitney. She confide- Demi confided in them. I just think it was so shady what Whitney did.

Kelli (36:33.407)
So she didn't say it on camera, she told them.

We Wine Whenever (36:36.051)
No, this had happened prior to them even filming. It was something that she had shared and she didn't share it with all of them. She'd only shared it with like one or two of them. So when she gets to the party and they're all sitting there and they're like all excited and Whitney's like, I have this present for you, Demayne. And she's like, you didn't have to get me a present. And then she opens up this box and it's filled with Fruity Pebbles. And she's just like, she gets up.

Kelli (36:39.657)
Got it.

Kelli (36:46.281)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (37:03.125)
She walks out of the room with the box like she was pissed and I don't blame her. then Whitney, what she does in Whitney fashion, Whitney gets all indignant. Like, why is she mad at me? Like, what did I do? Well, you know damn well what you did. You tried to embarrass her and...

Kelli (37:06.973)
I don't blame her at all.

We Wine Whenever (37:18.046)
Well, this is the thing.

We Wine Whenever (37:22.942)
I saw on a podcast and then Whitney said that the reason why she behaved like that, I heard her, but yeah, I know what mean, is that she said that she spoke to her about it before she did it and she didn't have a problem with it. And then all of sudden she did it and then it was a problem. I don't know, I'm just telling my mind.

We Wine Whenever (37:28.929)
You mean you heard on a podcast.

We Wine Whenever (37:33.696)
haha

Kelli (37:43.561)
Do you really believe that though?

We Wine Whenever (37:45.089)
I do not believe it. I do not believe it. I do not believe it because that's what happens. Go ahead.

We Wine Whenever (37:50.546)
You know, it was great is that Macy was saying that the fruity pebbles smells like, she said, it smells like the weed I used to smoke. I don't know what kind of, I'd like to know what kind of weed she smoked that it was smelled like fruity pebbles. Cause I've never personally come across this. So I was very interested that I was like, Hmm. Okay.

Kelli (38:07.509)
No shit!

Kelli (38:15.133)
Interesting. Maybe she meant a cart.

We Wine Whenever (38:16.22)
Yes, great.

We Wine Whenever (38:16.684)
That is interesting.

We Wine Whenever (38:19.759)
Maybe.

We Wine Whenever (38:19.949)
Maybe.

Kelli (38:20.575)
Cause well, yeah, but the, the, flavored vapes or nicotine, they're not weed.

We Wine Whenever (38:26.71)
Maybe in Utah they are.

Kelli (38:28.659)
Maybe in Utah they are. Maybe they got those sweet carts in Utah. Yeah, so maybe it was a cart. That's interesting.

We Wine Whenever (38:29.214)
She specifically said weed. I don't know.

We Wine Whenever (38:39.576)
I know, but this is Whitney's MO this whole season is that she does something to throw shade and then she gets called out for it or they get mad at her and then she

We Wine Whenever (38:55.506)
becomes the victim. Like she is all of a sudden the victim.

Kelli (38:57.118)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (38:59.4)
Thanks

Kelli (39:00.157)
Right, right.

We Wine Whenever (39:03.864)
So then they all go bowling and it's Demi, Demi, I'm sorry, I can't get, it's Demi, it's Demi.

Kelli (39:09.557)
either way. I've heard Demi Moore being be pronounced different ways, or, you know, so either one.

We Wine Whenever (39:15.24)
Yeah, yeah. It's to me, Layla, Jesse and Taylor, they all go bowling and they're calling themselves the sinners because the rest of the girls are at the baby blessing. And once they got uninvited to the baby blessing, they went bowling and they're the sinners and the other girls are the saints. And then we find out that Macy's having a girls weekend for her birthday and

Kelli (39:27.381)
Kelli (39:34.858)
Got it.

We Wine Whenever (39:41.374)
it seems like there's going to be this big split between the sinners and the saints. And then we go to episode number four, which is the birthday weekend, and that's called the Book of Truth. And...

there is a very clear divide between the two groups, the sinners and the saints. And they're hoping, I don't know why they think that this girls weekend is gonna help, you know, bring them together, but they're in a penthouse suite and we see that Demi says her and Brett are in a tiff about the Fruity Pebbles incident. So he got wind of it.

Kelli (40:07.157)
catch things up.

We Wine Whenever (40:25.376)
And of course he was pissed. Because he didn't know that she had told them about it.

Kelli (40:26.847)
Sure.

We Wine Whenever (40:32.578)
So, you

Kelli (40:32.893)
Yeah, I mean, you know, my husband doesn't want me sharing things about our private life with other people.

We Wine Whenever (40:36.009)
you

We Wine Whenever (40:38.624)
Right. Especially on national TV.

Kelli (40:41.565)
Right, right. Which she didn't do, but Whitney did it. Yeah, yeah.

We Wine Whenever (40:45.088)
Right, Whitney did, exactly, exactly. then, Mikaela says Whitney has been her friend for a while and that she is not self-aware. And that is really what it is. Whitney is not self-aware. She just thinks about how she can put herself on top to be the number one girl in the group at anyone's expense.

Kelli (41:06.057)
Yep. Yeah, she doesn't seem loyal to anyone but herself.

We Wine Whenever (41:11.06)
No, she doesn't. But she did get a

We Wine Whenever (41:12.912)
Now, did you notice in... Okay, sorry.

We Wine Whenever (41:17.879)
No, go ahead.

We Wine Whenever (41:19.08)
Did you notice in the very beginning of the episode, they're getting into Layla's car? Did you notice Layla's car?

We Wine Whenever (41:28.875)
I did not.

We Wine Whenever (41:29.82)
Nobody noticed it. It looks like a very expensive car. Like the doors open from the side like a DeLorean. You have to look at it. I was like, damn girl, where are you young? Where are you getting this money for this car? But it did not look like the run of the mill car. I'll tell you that.

Kelli (41:37.269)
Kelli (41:42.473)
What's she doing? She's divorced with two little kids, right? She's doing something right.

We Wine Whenever (41:46.835)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (41:53.607)
Hmm, interesting. No, I did not see that. But Whitney does get everyone matching sweatsuits, the sweatshirts and the sweatpants.

Kelli (41:54.94)
Very interesting.

Kelli (42:03.869)
Like, everyone, so they're all there, all eight of them. I didn't watch the episode, Laura. I told Wendy earlier.

We Wine Whenever (42:07.451)
Yes, there's all eight of them there and they all have their names on them. And yeah, we do need to do that. All right, let's do that. Okay, so we're doing a salt room and we're doing matching sweatsuits.

We Wine Whenever (42:08.616)
Yes.

Kelli (42:12.841)
We need to do that.

We should do that. Let's do it.

Kelli (42:22.995)
And we're wearing our matching sweat suits. Yes.

We Wine Whenever (42:25.468)
Okay.

We Wine Whenever (42:25.882)
Okay. Okay. So did you see on the way there, Taylor says that she's going to, I'm going to, she says, I'm going to pop my anxiety meds when we get there. Demi says, I already did. So they're talking about like Xanax. So that's okay too. It's very odd.

We Wine Whenever (42:49.917)
Well that's okay too.

Kelli (42:49.971)
Well, maybe because you can get a prescription for it.

We Wine Whenever (42:51.751)
I guess so.

We Wine Whenever (42:53.349)
No, but they also talk, they also talked about on, don't know if it was on a podcast or was actually on this series, but so Whitney got a lot of heat and we find out, I'm just going to jump to this for a little bit. Whitney got a lot of heat. She's the one who did that TikTok video dancing while her, her child was in the hospital with RSV.

Kelli (43:17.344)
yes, I did see that.

We Wine Whenever (43:18.554)
Right? So she's dancing and doing her TikTok. Her child has RSV. And she's pretty much pissed at Taylor because everyone forgave Taylor. And when I mean everyone, I don't mean the mom talkers. I mean like the world forgave Taylor and they didn't forgive her. And then she's trying to say that like what she did was innocent, but I'm not sure which one of them, one of them says, well, we were doing ketamine.

We Wine Whenever (43:28.026)
you

Kelli (43:30.463)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (43:45.755)
her and I, and she admitted that she did that for clout, and it blew up in her face.

We Wine Whenever (43:51.378)
Yeah, that was Demi.

We Wine Whenever (43:53.529)
Okay, so it was Demi. Was that, was on the episode? Yeah, so I said, I can't remember, because I've watched the episodes a while ago and I've listened to a lot of podcasts and I can't remember which is which.

We Wine Whenever (43:55.198)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (44:05.759)
They were prescribing ketamine for some kind of mental illness though, weren't they?

We Wine Whenever (44:09.857)
No, ketamine is prescribed and that's what we know happened to Matthew Perry. it's under, it's, no, but it needs to be closely supervised under a doctor's, yes, yes. But what I'm saying is like they're doing laughing gas, they're doing ketamine, they're taking Xanax, you know, they're.

Kelli (44:16.477)
Right, right, right. I'm like, where did I hear this? Right, right, right. Sure, any medication for that should be.

We Wine Whenever (44:23.824)
you

Kelli (44:32.54)
recreational.

We Wine Whenever (44:35.001)
Right. Under the guise of medical. Under the guise of medical.

Kelli (44:36.905)
Well, I guess it's not recreational. Right, right. Right, right.

We Wine Whenever (44:41.468)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (44:43.417)
So, none of them are saints.

Kelli (44:47.113)
But here's the thing, Whitney, and I saw the video of you dancing when your kid was in the hospital RSV. Listen, as long as your child was being taken care of by the medical staff, if you wanna put a video up, I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I honestly didn't. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I don't think it's a big deal. But you're not likable right now because of your prior behavior on the show.

We Wine Whenever (44:47.728)
now.

We Wine Whenever (45:08.64)
in either.

Kelli (45:13.919)
Taylor's likable, even though she's a hot mess, she got arrested for domestic violence. She's not an asshole on the show, so she's likable. You're so unlikable because of your antics on the show. Again, it's like the, know, Shana Medora's ex saying that she's making him look bad, but everything he's doing is making him look bad. That's what Whitney, like Whitney's trying to make it like it's everybody else, but your actions are making you look awful.

Terrible, you're not a good friend. The Fruity Pebbles thing, that's a terrible thing you did to your friend. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (45:48.652)
It's horrible. And that's the problem with Whitney. She's not accountable. She doesn't take

We Wine Whenever (45:49.63)
Yeah.

Kelli (45:52.797)
Right, so nobody's gonna give you grace because you come off like a jerk.

We Wine Whenever (45:58.39)
Right, right. And that's really what it comes down to. And actually, I just looked at my notes. Prior to that happening, when they get there, Jen says she forgot to bring her garment. Because Jen is one of the more practicing Mormons, because she doesn't drink. And they're like, you didn't bring your garments? And she's like, no, actually, they were drying. They had just washed them, and they weren't drying, and I forgot to bring them. And then she's like, I wonder if you can door dash garments.

I was just like, I'm sure you can, can door dash everything else. Why not door dash garments, right?

Kelli (46:32.277)
Sure can. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (46:34.898)
But then she said she didn't bring any underwear at all.

We Wine Whenever (46:36.784)
that

Right. Well, because that's what she wears, I guess. That's her underwear and her garments are one in the same. And then it comes out that Demi said that Taylor was white trash.

We Wine Whenever (46:44.53)
Yes.

We Wine Whenever (46:57.876)
Yeah. But Whitney is the one that's spreading this. Taylor asked Demi if it's trashy to take your dress off in front of Dakota, because this is what they're talking about when they're all together for this, this, you know, birthday weekend.

Kelli (47:11.561)
Wait, was Taylor at the birthday weekend?

We Wine Whenever (47:13.588)
They all were the sinners, all eight of them, the sinners and the saints. And Demi's like, what are you talking about? I was getting my microphone on. And when we watched the beginning of the episode where she was having the party, people got there early and she was upstairs, standing upstairs, like in her bra. But I guess, I don't know, she's free with that. So they had to mic her up and she took off her dress and

We Wine Whenever (47:13.649)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (47:42.74)
I guess Taylor's like, listen, you did it in front of Dakota and he felt uncomfortable about it. And you're the one calling me white trash?

We Wine Whenever (47:53.554)
And then she's like, listen, you have to look at it in the context. And Taylor's like, I'm not proud of the swinging and I'm trying to move forward from it. Like they're still trying to hold her feet to the fire about that. And.

Kelli (48:06.377)
I mean, what more do they want her to say? She apologized. She's not even married anymore. So it's like she lost her husband. I mean, I don't know if that's why, but you know, her marriage ended and you know, what do they, what more do they want her to do? She's forthcoming about it. She's not trying to hide anything.

We Wine Whenever (48:14.419)
Right.

We Wine Whenever (48:24.402)
No, you're absolutely right. She's not trying to hide anything. And I think, is this when they decide they're going to play like the truth or dare and they start asking questions?

We Wine Whenever (48:34.578)
Yeah, the truth box.

We Wine Whenever (48:36.252)
and Whitney. Yeah. Go ahead.

We Wine Whenever (48:40.766)
About that truth box. You know, it was this thing where she had this box and you could write down questions and then they would pick it and then you wouldn't know who wrote it. Except for, duh, they give out colored cards. So you know exactly which ones Whitney did because she had the red cards. Because they gave her two red cards to fill out. Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (48:53.031)
Right.

Kelli (49:03.359)
Somebody said this on a social media post. Somebody else said this on the, again, I didn't watch the episode, but somebody said this on a social media post. You knew who, you knew Whitney's questions.

We Wine Whenever (49:14.576)
Yeah, because the color of the cards is silly. I don't remember now.

Kelli (49:16.223)
So what were they?

We Wine Whenever (49:20.618)
So Whitney pulls out a question and it's asked, she's asked, who is your least favorite in the group now? And she says, it's Demi now.

Kelli (49:33.437)
It wasn't Taylor.

We Wine Whenever (49:33.456)
And now it was to me.

Kelli (49:37.195)
because of the Fruity Pebbles thing?

We Wine Whenever (49:38.737)
Yes, because of the Fruity Pebbles thing. Again, she's the one who did it to Demi, but she's saying, and this is what she does. Like she makes herself, she makes it about her when she's the one who stirred the pot to begin with. how dare you, right, how dare you get mad at me for what I did? It's like, what?

Kelli (49:43.666)
Right, right.

Right.

We Wine Whenever (49:50.418)
Be the victim.

Kelli (49:57.587)
Right. Right.

We Wine Whenever (49:58.642)
Yes, yes, she's always got to make herself the victim.

We Wine Whenever (50:01.83)
So then Demi sits down, she does, she does. And that's why she's not likable. She's not accountable and she's always the victim. And then Demi sits down with Taylor and she says that, know, this was an isolated moment and it wasn't okay. They were supposed to be rooming together and Taylor says, listen, I get it if you need to be alone. Demi says, listen, I'd like to, I'd like to move to the bunk room because then Taylor and her are kind of like arguing.

Kelli (50:04.501)
Mm.

Right. Right.

We Wine Whenever (50:32.402)
Taylor and Whitney go upstairs and they have a private conversation and Taylor asks Whitney, why didn't you tell me you weren't coming to my baby shower? And Whitney says, well, she didn't think that they were that close. Whitney doesn't think her and Taylor are that close that she needs to let her know she's not going to her baby shower.

Kelli (50:48.831)
Like I just, by the way Whitney, etiquette is if you're invited somewhere and you're not going, no matter how close you are with the person, you respond, you RSVP. You just let them know you're not coming. That's just, it's not even good etiquette, it's just normal behavior.

We Wine Whenever (51:09.372)
Yeah, 100%. 100%.

Kelli (51:10.997)
You don't have to be married to the person to let them know you're not coming to an event.

We Wine Whenever (51:14.885)
Right. And then Whitney again brings it back about her. She's like, I feel like you never asked me how things were with her and Connor. Like, okay.

Kelli (51:24.053)
Because we're all just waiting for you to tell us that he's gay.

We Wine Whenever (51:27.198)
Stop.

We Wine Whenever (51:28.484)
Yeah, well, you're really hanging on to that one.

We Wine Whenever (51:31.56)
She's gone, she's gone.

Kelli (51:32.105)
You

We Wine Whenever (51:34.128)
so, so yeah, this is actually where it was. So then that's when Demi says that Whitney told her about after she did the ketamine that, you know, she did it for clout and for followers. wasn't that, you know, she just was happy. And now Demi, Taylor and Whitney are talking and Whitney doesn't know why Demi is here. And I get that because it really was, I don't know why Demi showed up in that conversation either. Like it was, it was Taylor and Whitney. Those are the two that needed to have the conversation, but for whatever reason,

We Wine Whenever (52:01.054)
Yeah. So they went upstairs into the loft to have a conversation. And then all of sudden, Demi's getting like pissed. So she marches up there and like intercedes in their conversation. But when Demi comes back downstairs, she says something I think is very intelligent. And she says that, that Whitney's issues with Taylor are really Whitney's issues with herself.

We Wine Whenever (52:07.268)
Right. Yes, yes.

We Wine Whenever (52:17.648)
Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (52:29.724)
And I think that that's true, that, you know, she feels like she's comparing herself to Taylor and, you know, trying to live up to the hype of, you know, that Taylor is getting. like Wendy said before, why is Taylor getting all the attention and the public forgiving her and, know, not Whitney.

We Wine Whenever (52:53.56)
Right, right. And that's what she also does. Like the reason she does go up there is she's trying to call out Whitney on everything that she's been saying behind Taylor's back.

Kelli (53:03.988)
Mmm.

We Wine Whenever (53:06.369)
And then Whitney says she doesn't want to be friends with Taylor or Demi. Whitney gets up and walks away. Typical Whitney.

Kelli (53:13.491)
It's just so funny how these people are like, I don't want to be friends with you anymore. How old are you?

We Wine Whenever (53:17.473)
Yeah.

We Wine Whenever (53:17.574)
Yeah, like nanny nanny, ha ha. And the best was not only does Whitney get up and leave, she gets up and goes and sits on the floor in the walk-in closet. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. And another thing that Demi said is,

Kelli (53:22.706)
Exactly.

We Wine Whenever (53:32.161)
In the closet. In the closet. Crying. Crying. Yes. Yeah, it was bad. It was bad.

Kelli (53:34.826)
Why?

Kelli (53:39.625)
and nobody feels bad for you because...

We Wine Whenever (53:46.47)
Whitney is the victim of her own chaos.

which I think is very true too.

Kelli (53:57.864)
Her own what?

We Wine Whenever (53:59.016)
Chaos. Chaos. Yeah. yeah, Whitney is a victim of her own chaos.

We Wine Whenever (54:01.495)
We didn't hear. yes. That's yes.

Kelli (54:02.131)
Yes. Yes.

Kelli (54:09.363)
Yeah, for sure, for sure.

We Wine Whenever (54:09.382)
She likes to create chaos and then she likes to say that she's the victim.

We Wine Whenever (54:18.412)
That's what she does. That's exactly what she does. And I was surprised when Macy said Whitney is her best friend.

Kelli (54:21.299)
Yeah.

Kelli (54:28.693)
Yeah, because I thought she was super close with Taylor.

We Wine Whenever (54:31.699)
I did too. I did too. But she says Whitney is her best friend.

We Wine Whenever (54:36.89)
I watched a clip of a podcast that Whitney just did recently. And in it, she said before the show, she was really close to Macy and Michaela. And now after filming, she's really close with Macy and Taylor.

Kelli (54:56.693)
Wait, who said that?

We Wine Whenever (54:58.874)
Whitney. Whitney said before the show, before the show, she was close with Macy and Michaela. And now after filming, she's close. She's closest with Macy and Taylor. Telling you what she said.

Kelli (55:02.677)
She said she's close with Taylor?

We Wine Whenever (55:17.953)
That's interesting.

Kelli (55:18.911)
That is interesting because I thought they didn't get along.

We Wine Whenever (55:22.008)
I don't know. don't know. don't know. But now, know, yeah, Whitney was a competitive dancer and she's very interested. She's very interested in acting. So she wants to be an actress. I think she's acting all the time. No.

Kelli (55:25.212)
I guess we'll see how it winds up, right?

We Wine Whenever (55:33.845)
Yeah, I saw that.

Kelli (55:41.511)
I think she's acting all the time.

We Wine Whenever (55:43.487)
Yes, she absolutely is acting all the time.

Kelli (55:46.335)
She's not a very good actress, though I don't see that really working out for her. But I think she's trying to every episode, every time they're filming. She's putting on an act.

We Wine Whenever (55:50.436)
No, me neither.

We Wine Whenever (55:55.547)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

We Wine Whenever (55:57.419)
Right, yeah.

We Wine Whenever (56:01.021)
I will say I'm not a fan of Whitney's. I'm not. I guess it didn't happen yet. So we'll, next time we will recap a couple more episodes. Cause I did watch a few more episodes and I'm not sure. There's eight total. We just did up to four. But I, I'm not sure. I'm not sure if I heard it on a podcast or I saw it in an episode.

Kelli (56:03.093)
Mm-mm.

We Wine Whenever (56:04.082)
Mm-mm.

Kelli (56:15.007)
What there's

Kelli (56:19.103)
Okay.

We Wine Whenever (56:19.314)
Yeah. So.

We Wine Whenever (56:27.241)
but I did learn a little bit about Jessie. I'll just give you this little information I learned about Jessie real quick. The one who has the hair extensions in the hair salon, actually was on a podcast. She like employees 50 people. All of her family works for her. Like she is a hard worker and she is busting her butt, not just doing these mom talks. Like she's a successful business woman.

Kelli (56:35.946)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (56:43.285)
I heard that too.

Kelli (56:53.661)
and she lost clients after the show came out, right?

We Wine Whenever (56:57.097)
She did initially, but then they came back. Now people are coming to book from all over, because now they're coming there and they want to see her and want to see what's going on. So I'm happy for her. I am too. am too. Did you have something else to say, Laura?

Kelli (57:00.712)
Yeah.

Kelli (57:10.527)
Good, I'm glad to hear that.

We Wine Whenever (57:15.016)
So yeah, so Macy was once a pro tennis player. Layla was once a nanny and also a server at Texas Roadhouse. Jesse was a YouTuber and she's the one who has, like Wendy was just talking about with her hair stuff. Whitney was a hairdresser.

We Wine Whenever (57:25.375)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (57:31.419)
You

We Wine Whenever (57:45.623)
Demi was an influencer. Michaela was a tour guide in Hawaii. Jen was an influencer and a personal assistant. So just a little heads up on what they did before the mom talk really took over. I didn't see anything about her.

Kelli (58:01.653)
What about Taylor?

We Wine Whenever (58:09.566)
so I'm not sure. But that's just what I saw online.

We Wine Whenever (58:11.645)
It's interesting.

Kelli (58:19.028)
Nice.

We Wine Whenever (58:20.03)
in

We Wine Whenever (58:20.189)
All right, so we are going to, like I said, we're gonna recap the last four episodes, but Kelly and Laurie are not really into the secret lives of Mormon wives. So if you could give us your input and let us know, do you want us to do season two?

Kelli (58:35.893)
Season two, because they did, they get renewed for one, right? Another season.

We Wine Whenever (58:39.175)
They, yes, we just heard they are getting a season two. So if you want us to recap season two, let us know. If you don't even give a crap about season one, let us know when we move on to the last four episodes either. Like just let us know, give us some feedback. We're doing this for you guys. We're not just doing it for us. We're doing it for you. So let us know what you think. If you want us to do it, leave us a comment, send us a DM and we'll do it.

We Wine Whenever (58:39.815)
Yes, they did.

Kelli (58:46.367)
take one for the team and we'll do it.

We Wine Whenever (58:47.762)
We'll take one for the team.

We Wine Whenever (58:55.314)
There you go. Yeah.

Kelli (58:56.147)
Yeah, exactly.

That's right. Yep.

We Wine Whenever (59:08.527)
If you don't say, listen, I'm not interested and we won't do it. It's that simple.

We Wine Whenever (59:12.862)
Yeah, that's that.

Kelli (59:14.101)
Agreed.

Cause we have stuff like we're gonna talk about Matthew Perry, we're gonna talk about the Menendez brothers. And then Bravo's got us chock full of housewives. Yeah,

We Wine Whenever (01:00:09.914)
All right. Thank you. Thank you. See you soon. Bye.

Kelli (01:00:11.815)
Alright, have a good night everyone.

Bye.
