RHOSLC-Whitney’s Psychic Circus

Podcast Summary: RHOSLC S6 E5 – “The Salt Lake City Soup Man”

Whitney kicks off the episode planning a “love, laughter, and wine” girls’ day—complete with psychic readings and bad singing. The ladies gather at a venue Mary immediately declares cursed (“bad juju” — a murder-suicide happened there). The party’s garden theme quickly clashes with everyone’s chaotic fashion choices—Mary even says Meredith looks like “a walking virus.”

Lisa arrives in silk pajamas clutching a manila envelope, prepared for drama. Meredith confronts her about rumors Lisa allegedly tried to spread via Angie, which sparks another round of yelling between Lisa and Angie. Mary, as usual, spectates with biting commentary and refuses the salmon tartare (“I’m not eating parasites, little salmon babies in my belly!”).

Whitney’s “surprise guest” psychic, Terrence Turner, gives the women a series of emotional readings—Brittany about her distant daughter, Bronwyn about her mother’s health, and Lisa about her strained marriage. Meanwhile, Angie and Lisa’s fight escalates into an epic insult exchange, culminating in Angie threatening to pull Lisa’s ears back “further than her facelift,” and Lisa firing back with “What about Soup Man, bitch?”—leaving everyone utterly confused.

The chaos continues as Angie throws a toy horse, Mary storms off, and Whitney gets a warning from the psychic to “watch out for a snake” in her friend group. By the end, Lisa cries, Whitney reflects, and no one knows who (or what) the “Soup Man” really is.

WWHL:
Whitney appears with Lukas Gage and reveals she lost over $500K in Wild Rose Beauty but insists she’ll be fine. Andy praises her honesty this season. When asked who started the latest feud—Whitney says flatly, “Lisa.”

Wendy (00:01.082)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Wendy.

Kelli (00:04.471)
I'm Kelly.

Lori (00:05.442)
and I'm Lori.

Wendy (00:07.288)
We are talking about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, season six, episode number five. And this is the Salt Lake City Soup Man. I mean, I guess it's a good name, but we still don't know who he is or what this is all about.

Lori (00:20.431)
You don't know him.

Kelli (00:20.846)
I don't think it's a good name because we never found out what the hell it means.

Wendy (00:25.114)
I know is very true. didn't find out what it means. Very odd.

Lori (00:25.463)
It would have been better like argument at the vineyard that never ends. That never ever ever ends.

Kelli (00:30.487)
I am.

Wendy (00:34.714)
Hmm.

Kelli (00:35.778)
Like for real, for real. I will say that my favorite part about this episode was that we were in one place the entire time. We were not bouncing. I did personally.

Lori (00:47.321)
Are you like that? You like that? I've seen people on social media bitch about that. That they like when it goes, when you get more out of the episode, when you see more places or more things and yeah, that's interesting.

Kelli (01:04.102)
I liked the bounce back from the table to the readings, especially at the end where poor Whitney's finally, well, we'll get there. You know, we'll get there.

Lori (01:09.934)
Okay.

Lori (01:14.318)
Yeah.

Wendy (01:14.542)
Yeah, I agree. I like it all in one place too, because we have said this before, I can't stand when we have two people in one place talking about one thing and then another two people talking about the same thing someplace else and then we're going back and forth. I'd rather have them all together.

Kelli (01:23.511)
Yes.

Kelli (01:30.892)
Yeah, we had them all in the same place at the same time, all on the same page, like not all on the same page, obviously, but like they're all focusing on the same thing at the same time.

Lori (01:38.614)
No, yeah, no.

Lori (01:43.887)
I probably would have liked it more if it just wasn't such a shit show. It was exhausting. I was exhausted.

Wendy (01:43.961)
Right.

Kelli (01:50.433)
It was a, it was a shitshow.

Kelli (01:55.892)
It never progressed, it never moved forward. Not between Angie and Lisa at least.

Lori (01:58.019)
Yeah, it was exhausting.

Wendy (01:59.321)
Right.

Yeah, it was like the clarity lunch. know, it was like the care, like that didn't move. didn't, I mean, we thought we did because they, they, when you had it ended where Lisa said, okay, we're all going to move forward. But then it's Lisa that keeps perpetuating this. I mean, she's the one who can't move forward. It's Lisa. You know? So we start out with Whitney talking to Justin and she wants to have the girls, she wants to have a girl's day where they're celebrating love, laughter and wine. And you know,

Lori (02:21.152)
Ay ay ay ay

Wendy (02:32.109)
Face value, that sounds great, right?

Kelli (02:34.826)
It does, and I loved her invitations via the bouquets.

Wendy (02:38.764)
Yes, they were beautiful.

Lori (02:39.481)
beautiful. Yes, beautiful.

Kelli (02:40.652)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (02:42.03)
I'll tell you what I didn't love was her singing her made up song and her confessional. Whitney.

Lori (02:45.871)
It's bad. It's bad.

Kelli (02:48.574)
I mean, based on comments that we've been getting lately on our posts, really am nervous to say a negative thing about anybody. But.

Lori (02:59.13)
I don't care. I don't. I so don't.

Kelli (03:04.64)
Yeah, well, I mean, listen, she just shouldn't sing. That was, but it was, but it was, yeah, probably all of us. But it was, you know, funny. Her lyrics were very funny.

Lori (03:09.689)
Yeah. I shouldn't sing. She shouldn't sing.

Wendy (03:20.184)
Yes, yes. Okay, we'll give her that. And they're calling it Whitney's telepathic tasting. I kind of like that too.

Kelli (03:23.501)
Give her that.

Kelli (03:30.414)
I do, I did like that. And the place was beautiful.

Lori (03:30.649)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (03:32.694)
Mary, it was beautiful until Mary pulls up and says, I don't know why Whitney decided to have the event here. This place has bad juju. The former owner killed his wife and himself in front of the dog.

Lori (03:34.925)
Yes, beautiful.

Lori (03:45.871)
And I was confused. Was it there? Was it at that place?

Kelli (03:45.929)
on Christmas Day.

Wendy (03:47.864)
Yes!

Yes!

Kelli (03:51.244)
I mean, they probably lived on the grounds, I would imagine, right? Like that's how I read it.

Lori (03:54.829)
I don't know.

Wendy (03:54.902)
Or that place was a house. I think it was an old house. I mean, it's a vineyard. know, I think it was, right. I think it was a house that, you know, that's how vineyards were.

Kelli (03:59.054)
right.

Lori (04:02.925)
I'll tell ya, Mary with all her, she's so funny. We had the Jeffrey Dahmer thing when they were in Milwaukee. She's telling Whitney's kids about the lady flying out of the car. She must be like, I bet you she is a true crime addict. I think that she really probably is because she always has some little like macabre angle. It's very funny.

Wendy (04:08.867)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (04:22.22)
Yeah, probably.

Kelli (04:28.224)
Yes, yes it is.

Wendy (04:29.912)
Yeah, it was funny. So the party has a garden party theme and everyone shows up in beautiful floral dresses except for Angie shows up in a leopard print dress. Did she get the same?

Kelli (04:45.646)
Yeah, so I was gonna ask you guys, who did you like the best? Like whose outfit did you like the best?

Lori (04:52.515)
did like Angie's, even though I didn't think it was very garden party, I thought it was very her. I didn't like Lisa's pajamas, I don't know where she's going.

Kelli (04:59.021)
Yeah.

Wendy (05:03.077)
my gosh, yes, I put that down. She was wearing pajamas.

Lori (05:06.027)
She was wearing pajamas. I think that Whitney is a beautiful girl, but I don't think that her outfit did her, I didn't think it looked great on her. And Meredith's outfit was one of the most horrendous things that I've ever seen. And she's always with those high boots. So listen to our audience and to the people who want to make comments, please feel free, make all the comments you want. We are talking about someone's style.

outfit. It is not bullying. It is an opinion. Just so we're clear.

Kelli (05:38.508)
were not commenting on their physical appearance.

Lori (05:42.113)
No. And feel free to comment on anything about us that you want to because we don't care. We don't care. We don't care.

Kelli (05:47.99)
they do. You don't need to give them permission. I personally loved Heather's dress.

Wendy (05:55.61)
don't even remember, Heathers.

Kelli (05:57.366)
I thought it was so cute. Like it was like a floral, it was pink, was kind of like, yes, I really liked that. When Mary said that Meredith looked like a walking virus, I almost fell off my chair. I mean, even Bronwyn, it was very appropriate.

Lori (05:57.589)
yes, that was beautiful. I loved it. Yes, I loved it.

Wendy (06:00.142)
What was Heather's?

Lori (06:05.315)
like very flowy, like romantic.

Wendy (06:07.199)
yes, yes, yes. I remember it now, I remember it.

Wendy (06:17.326)
I know, I mean, it was denim.

Kelli (06:25.506)
but it was just so, it's just so much, but I guess that's wrong then. Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (06:28.313)
Well, that's her. That's her. That's a Brahman outfit.

Wendy (06:30.298)
So when she took off, when Bronwyn took off that floral coat, that butterfly dress that she had on underneath it, gorgeous. I think that was my favorite dress because when she took off that, when I first saw the coat, was like, ooh, but then as soon as I saw the butterfly dress, I was like, that was stunning. I just, you know, I loved all the detail of all the butterflies and I actually...

Lori (06:36.931)
That butterfly is so pretty. Love that.

Kelli (06:40.374)
Yes. Yeah.

Lori (06:43.31)
Yeah.

Kelli (06:50.584)
Yeah.

Lori (06:53.687)
And you know with Salt Lake, I'm always confused. Like, what's the weather? What's the temperature? Like, what happened?

Wendy (06:58.02)
What season is it?

Kelli (07:00.647)
it's like OC, like you never know, or Miami, like you never know what time of year, is it Christmas time? Is it, yeah, you never know.

Lori (07:04.204)
You just never know what's going on.

Wendy (07:07.692)
Right, right. I actually liked the pink dress that Whitney was wearing. I thought it looked good. I did. I thought it looked nice on her. Yeah.

Lori (07:08.335)
You never know what's going on. And I love, you did, liked it? You did, you liked it? I love how Angie knew right away what Mary was thinking about Meredith's outfit. Like they have that friend thing where she just looked at it they just knew what each other were thinking. I know they said it, but before they even said it, you could just tell that they were like, it's funny.

Wendy (07:34.84)
Yeah. So Lisa's the last one to show up and she gets out of the car wearing her, I thought looked like silk pajamas and her manila envelope. And she says to the driver, keep the car running in close because you know, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna be long. Exactly. Exactly.

Lori (07:50.105)
So why just come? Stay home.

Kelli (07:54.947)
Yeah, and Heather was literally the only person that was happy to see Lisa. She was like, there she is. And everybody else was like, meh.

Lori (08:01.795)
Mwah, mwah, mwah.

Wendy (08:04.258)
Yeah.

Yeah. And we see Angie when she comes in, she comes in with that big plastic tote. I was like, gosh, there's going to be something good in there. So Whitney thanks them all for coming. And she says, you know, she was going through photos the other day and it reminded her that, you know, she used to be like free spirited and fun loving. And she wants to get back to that Whitney. She wants to be more carefree.

Kelli (08:07.553)
Lori (08:17.231)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (08:17.592)
Yeah.

Wendy (08:32.854)
So she also has a surprise for them. She flew in all the way from New York, a world renowned spiritual intuitive, Terrence Turner. I never heard of him. Have you ever? No.

Kelli (08:45.166)
Now, another interesting creative career description though.

Lori (08:50.189)
Yes, yes, yes. I like that. No.

Wendy (08:50.489)
yes.

Kelli (08:52.279)
Not psychic.

Wendy (08:54.296)
Right. spiritual intuitive, yeah. I'm like, okay, so Heather's doesn't really know too much, she said about psychics and Bronwyn loves psychics. Mary said that they, we call them soothsayers and what our Bible calls him is sometimes the devil can talk out of them. Mary's not gonna participate, she's going to pass. Which I understand that, you know, I understand that. Yep, everyone has their own opinions, yep.

Kelli (08:55.552)
intuitive consultant.

Lori (08:57.518)
Yes.

Lori (09:15.919)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Kelli (09:18.798)
It's okay, I totally understand. I totally understand. Yeah.

Lori (09:24.321)
Well, if you're going to go per the Bible, that is what it says. That you're not supposed to do any kind of divination. So if you're to go by the Bible, she's correct.

Kelli (09:29.752)
Yeah. Yeah.

Right, right.

Wendy (09:37.242)
Mm-hmm.

So Meredith announces that she didn't even know that Utah made wine, because the wine that they're tasting is from that vineyard, so it's Utah wine. I'll be honest with you, I didn't know there was vineyards in Utah either.

Kelli (09:54.872)
Me neither.

Lori (09:55.215)
Nope.

Wendy (09:56.408)
I mean, think of vineyards, think of California, like Southern California. Like I didn't even know that these kind of grapes, yeah, or France, obviously, or Italy, but I didn't know that these kind of grapes could grow in Salt Lake, because I thought it was, I didn't think it got warm enough, but I guess it does.

Lori (10:02.264)
or France.

Kelli (10:14.445)
Yeah.

Lori (10:14.627)
Yeah, you know, you don't think of New Jersey as somewhere having vineyards either, but we have quite a few.

Kelli (10:19.682)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (10:19.801)
Yeah.

So they're doing pairings and the first pairing is with salmon and Mary asks like is the salmon tartar? And the woman says yeah and she's like well I'm not eating raw fish I don't need any of parasites like you know then they have babies in your belly and

Lori (10:40.185)
Salmon babies camping out in her belly. That's what she said.

Kelli (10:43.404)
Yeah, yeah. Now, that was smoked salmon, so it is cooked, but it's cold, so it feels raw.

Lori (10:46.926)
Now.

Wendy (10:51.117)
I know.

Wendy (10:56.474)
Well, she asked if it was tartar and tartar means raw. yeah, she gave her.

Lori (10:57.442)
I'm not sure.

Kelli (10:58.414)
Right, that, what was her name, Stephanie? Angela, Angela the wine specialist said, yeah, it's Tartar, so. Right, yeah.

Wendy (11:07.94)
But it wasn't, she gave her wrong information. So Angie's at the table saying that, you know, she's always lived in a contemporary home, like she would, with a small yard and she's looking around this place, she's like, you know, she would love to have like this airy garden-like feeling, you know, if anyone would like to buy her house. And then Brittany's sitting across from her and said, your house is for sale. And she said, yeah, it's been for sale for, you know, a minute. And as she's sitting there, she's looking it up.

on her phone.

Lori (11:39.279)
She went like the deep dive into her real estate mode, deep dive. I was like, girl, you need to cool it.

Kelli (11:41.696)
Yeah, like within seconds.

Wendy (11:47.226)
It was so obnoxious. It was so obnoxious.

Lori (11:50.071)
It was.

Kelli (11:50.351)
Well, especially when she says, there was a price adjustment already. That's not good. Like she's saying it under her breath, but she's miked. So we all know what she's saying.

Wendy (11:57.123)
Yeah.

Lori (12:01.967)
And people have to do a price adjustment for all different kinds of reasons. It's not the doom and gloom that she's making it out to be. It's something that often happens in a real estate transaction. So it's not like...

Wendy (12:02.339)
Yeah.

Kelli (12:15.478)
And when you're dealing with a multimillion dollar home, a small price adjustment isn't gonna make or break you.

Wendy (12:19.811)
Exactly.

Lori (12:23.712)
Now!

Wendy (12:24.748)
Right, right. And then.

Kelli (12:26.476)
And who knows, knowing Angie, she's probably upgrading to a bigger, better house in a better area.

Wendy (12:33.134)
Yeah, yeah. And then Brittany says, well, why didn't you reach out to me about listing your house? You know, I'm a realtor. And she's like, well, it was my godson's mother. you know, I'm going to use somebody that I know. And then she goes in on, well, it's been on the market for 200 days. I think the price is a little high. this is a good way to approach it? mean, are you, you're out of your mind.

Lori (12:40.399)
Come on, stop.

Kelli (12:41.014)
You

Lori (12:58.551)
Yeah. What are you doing? What are you doing? How about Lisa with her weird, weird trying to like get into the conversation with, I could be a farmer. Just that weird one, just so odd. It's like Lisa. No, just be quiet. Just be quiet.

Kelli (13:11.49)
Yeah.

Kelli (13:17.518)
Yeah, I don't know what that was. And then when they started talking about like, well, this neighborhood, like, at least it's like, okay, well, so this is how it goes. Like the most desirable neighborhood is this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you know, it's just insulting to people. It's just insulting.

Wendy (13:37.144)
Yeah, it is insulting. It's absolutely insulting. Brittany said that, you know, you should have priced it correctly the first time and then you'd get multiple offers right off the bat. And Angie's like, you don't get multiple offers when your house is listed at $4.5 million. And she's right. You don't. You don't.

Kelli (13:54.671)
Well, I do think that what Brittany's, I do think that there's merit to what Brittany says though. Like when you price it right, I mean, look at our neighbor across the street. I mean, it's not a multi-million dollar home, but it's under contract. It literally went on the market less than two weeks ago. Like you price it right.

Wendy (14:06.284)
I, but that's that you can't.

Wendy (14:13.038)
I think.

Lori (14:13.177)
Yeah, but we don't know what, but we don't know what we don't, you can price it at wherever you want. What happens is it's about what somebody offers. And I think in Angie's case, she wants to sell it, but she's in no rush. She has a number on it. She has a number she wants to get, and she's happy to just let it sit there until she gets her number.

Kelli (14:23.98)
Yeah.

Kelli (14:34.466)
And listen, she probably thinks because of who she is, it's gonna sell for higher than it otherwise would. Because somebody might want to buy the house of the housewife of Salt Lake City, Angie. Like, you know, I get it, I get it. But there is merit to what Brittany said. And you've heard real estate agents say it a lot. If the price is right to begin with, you're gonna get offers.

Lori (14:44.515)
because of that.

Lori (15:03.715)
Right, but like I said, maybe she didn't need it priced right. Maybe she needed it priced for what she wanted and if she got it fine and if she didn't, that's fine too.

Kelli (15:07.382)
Right, right. I get it.

Lori (15:15.651)
But you know, Brittany's a big real estate expert, so she just let everybody know all about it.

Kelli (15:19.256)
Clearly.

Clearly.

Wendy (15:22.102)
And then when she's having that argument, she's like, Jarrod's calling. Okay.

Kelli (15:27.616)
Now here's the thing, you know damn well, he knew where she was, he knew that she was filming. This guy just wants to be on the show. He's filming with Justin, this guy just wants to be on the show. He knew she was filming. Why would he call her?

Lori (15:36.354)
Mm-hmm, of course.

Lori (15:40.399)
just wants to be able

Wendy (15:42.723)
Yes.

Wendy (15:49.924)
Absolutely, knew he absolutely

And that's what Whitney says. know, Jared came over and talked to Justin a week ago. And, you know, he makes it sound like you only get back with him when you want gifts and, you know, you want to go on vacations and stuff.

Lori (16:09.409)
I have written down EW with like 10,000 W's. Cause when I was making notes when I was watching, was like, EW stop.

Wendy (16:15.278)
Ha ha ha.

Kelli (16:20.642)
He's so cringy. He's horrible.

Wendy (16:20.835)
Yeah.

Lori (16:23.663)
horrible. So I guess her daughter wanted her to stop dating for 30 days.

Wendy (16:24.642)
really is.

Kelli (16:31.182)
And she made 48 hours, she said, right? Was that the number, 48 hours?

Lori (16:34.841)
Good God. Good God.

Wendy (16:35.778)
Yes, yes. And listen, her daughter, I mean, she's 19. It's not like she's, you know, out of the house and, I mean, she's not in her house because of the situation, but she's 19 years old. You know, that's not a hard ask. I don't think, I don't think it is.

Kelli (16:47.726)
She's not in her house, yeah.

Lori (16:53.783)
No, no, no.

Kelli (16:54.196)
Mmm. I don't think so either.

Wendy (16:57.862)
Then all of a sudden the wind starts whipping around and the flower arrangement shatters and then more wind starts whipping and something else breaks. Like I guess it was like a wind tunnel there at that point. Brittany is the first one to go in and to meet with Terrence Turner. And yeah, he asks, does she feel disconnected from someone in her own family? And she's like, well, my daughters.

Kelli (17:16.75)
So

Wendy (17:27.118)
Like, he's like, how old are they? She said, well, they're 23 and 19. He said, well, it's the 19 year old. There's a wall up and you're not communicating. He said, you need to spend some time and get to know her again. So, mean, Whitney had the same conversation with her. Like, you need to...

Lori (17:35.983)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (17:44.611)
Yeah, but the funny thing is that Brittany's like, there's no way he could know that. And then they flashback to last season where like every scene she's like, yeah, my daughter's not talking to me because I'm dating this guy and she doesn't like him. the guy, I mean, I know this guy was spot on with a lot of things, but she was like, there's no way he could have known that. And I love the flashbacks because you hear that guy like, in fact, he did know that because you said it all last.

Lori (17:55.78)
Wendy (17:58.179)
I know.

Kelli (18:14.272)
season.

Lori (18:14.476)
last season.

Wendy (18:15.852)
Right, right. I feel like Brittany, I could be, I mean, I feel like every scene that she's in, it's like she's acting. Like she thinks that, she thinks that this is like a role that she has. Like it's not really Brittany that's there. It's the character of Brittany that shows up, right? Like.

Kelli (18:26.35)
100%.

Lori (18:26.955)
come on, most definitely.

Kelli (18:35.788)
You did see that she's having a show, like a Luann-esque show, and it's called, What About Me?

Wendy (18:43.02)
No I didn't.

my gosh, that's perfect for her.

Kelli (18:47.468)
She's having a one woman show named that. I mean, if the post I saw is true, that is what I saw.

Lori (18:47.477)
lord.

Wendy (18:56.014)
I mean, that's perfect for her. That's what she needs.

Kelli (18:59.394)
Yeah, but it's, I mean, just goes along with, I totally agree with you 100%. She's just acting, this is like a role for her.

Wendy (19:07.596)
Mm-hmm. And it's not even good.

Lori (19:09.519)
And how about when, no, how about when Bronwyn had said to her, like, imagine this is the person who called me a gold digger and now Jared is at Whitney's house. Like basically saying that about.

Kelli (19:18.499)
Yes.

Yes.

Wendy (19:23.971)
Yeah.

And then Meredith brings up, guys, there's some stuff I want to discuss. Lisa and I started a new friendship and we made a commitment to each other. If something was brought to us, we would bring it to the other person. And Lisa, I need to ask you, were you trying to spread negative rumors about my family?

Lori (19:46.595)
The pause, the pause and the blinking of Lisa's eyelashes.

Kelli (19:53.07)
She's blinking. She's still blinking a lot.

Lori (19:54.447)
She looked nervous as hell, I'm telling you.

Wendy (20:00.398)
Lisa said, no, feel like even last year I worked really hard to be a better friend to you. And then she looks over at Angie and she said, but Satan looks like she might.

Kelli (20:10.38)
Yeah, she said, I don't know what this is about, but Satan looks like she might. And she's talking about Angie.

Wendy (20:16.824)
Yeah. Angie's like, I'm not Satan. I do my work in the light, not in the dark. I'm like, boy. Then those two just start yelling and screaming over the table again. It's actually ridiculous because you can't understand.

Lori (20:32.216)
It is.

Kelli (20:33.11)
Meredith kind of let Lisa off the hook though. Meredith, she totally let Lisa off the hook. She was like, all right, I said it, I got it out, that should satisfy Angie who brought it to me. Like even Heather said it. Like she

Wendy (20:36.236)
She did!

Yep.

Lori (20:40.057)
Yes.

Lori (20:47.533)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Yeah, it was very telling that Heather even said, you know, Lisa does tend to have information on people.

Wendy (20:57.22)
They've all said it. Actually, they've all said it. And Meredith even said, you need to stop going low. Please stop with the tit for tat. And that's what happens with, especially right now with Lisa and Angie, like everything is like back and forth, back and forth.

Lori (21:04.622)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (21:13.167)
And part of the problem is Angie's Greek and they get hot. They get, and they will not back down. It takes them a long time to cool off and they just like go from zero to a thousand and they stayed a thousand and they could keep it there for long time.

Kelli (21:40.12)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (21:42.241)
And I know that's a generalized statement to make about Greek people, but I'm saying it because I have Greek friends and I have interactions with them and their family. And it's just kind of a known cultural thing that they just, they get very feisty. They get very fired up. But it gets to be like middle school. my God. They got to the point where they were arguing about who's taller.

I was like, my gosh.

Kelli (22:12.472)
This is what I mean, like it's like, you know, at one point in my notes, I have it and it's probably towards the end. Mary is probably sitting here thinking, I have like real shit going on at home with my son. Like my son is battling addiction and this is what you bitches are fighting over, really. Like they should have real problems.

Lori (22:29.057)
And this is what I'm doing. And this is what I'm doing.

Wendy (22:29.412)
Mm-hmm.

Lori (22:36.535)
Right. Who's taller?

Wendy (22:43.264)
I agree, I totally agree. mean, and honestly, I'll be honest with you, it's Lisa. Like Lisa is the one who keeps starting it because Angie said like, left Lisa's event and I thought we were all good. But then Lisa sends Sage over to get the products. Like, and then it just keeps going after that with the nasty text messages. And she came in ready to fight. just, she came in ready to fight. I mean,

Kelli (23:01.795)
Yeah.

Lori (23:05.903)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (23:05.996)
Yeah, that yeah

Wendy (23:12.15)
Angie knew it was coming, which is why she came in with her box because of the aggressive, nasty text messages she got from Lisa after it was supposed to be squashed.

Lori (23:23.727)
I love how the wine lady was like, I have more wine. You want some? I'd be offering him anything. Yeah.

Kelli (23:28.238)
Would you be offering them more wine at this point? I'd be providing them wine.

Wendy (23:33.196)
Yeah, I definitely would be offering them more wine.

Lori (23:35.343)
I'd be offering them wine with an IV.

Kelli (23:37.966)
Well, Bronwyn goes in for her reading.

Wendy (23:41.152)
Next. Yep.

And he says, why does brain keep coming up? And she said, her mom just had a big surgery in December. And he said, it almost seems like there's another procedure. She's ignoring something in her blood number. Something is elevated, she's not paying attention to, and she's only been focused on this since January. He said he sees another set of doctors, another set of specialists.

that want to work for her, but there's only a certain percentage of recovery, but there is life. I mean, that's a lot of information.

Lori (24:23.575)
Right. And that's a lot of information. And basically told her your mother is who she is. She does love you. She does have your back. It's never going to be how you want it to be, the relationship. And really that you just need to accept her for face value for what she is. Which is not an easy thing to do.

Kelli (24:26.414)
That's a lot. That's a lot.

Kelli (24:46.516)
No, because he said she's your biggest supporter, but it doesn't seem that way. It does not seem that way. It doesn't seem that way to us. I can't imagine it seems that way to her.

Lori (24:50.433)
Mm-hmm. No, it does not seem that way at all. That way to her, right. But he is right in many ways because she, at this point, she is who she is and she, you know.

She just is who she is. And I think that she gives, maybe that's all she can give. Maybe that's all she's got. And sometimes that has to be enough. And it's not, maybe it's not gonna be that warm, fuzzy mother-daughter relationship that you always wanted, but not everybody's blessed with that. So, you know what I mean? Just work on what you have with your own daughter and make that relationship the best it can be and whatever with her mother.

Kelli (25:13.645)
Right.

Lori (25:38.275)
Sometimes you can't change people.

Wendy (25:38.83)
I yeah, I totally agree with that. And I think that, you know, he couldn't have known this stuff about her mother, because she never talked about this before. We didn't see her mother until this season.

Kelli (25:48.237)
No, that's right. I said the same thing. I have that in my notes. Like he would not have known anything about that unless Whitney gave him some information. He wouldn't have known anything about that. You know, it's interesting because my mom had a brain tumor removed. I mean, Joseph was, I think he was six months old. And so he's 18. So that was over 17 years ago. And

Lori (25:49.55)
Right.

Wendy (25:53.295)
Yeah.

Kelli (26:14.702)
She must have had it for 10, 15 years. It was benign. It was not cancerous, thank God. But the doctor did tell her, it's likely that this will grow back and that you would probably have to have this surgery again. Now, I'm not gonna give my mother's age, because I'm not looking to get an ass whooping, but my mother said right then and there, I'm never doing this again. So if this grows back, it is what it is. So I am sure my mother,

I hope not, but I am sure if that would happen, she would ignore any signs of it because she ignored signs of it the first time because my mother doesn't like doctors. So when he was talking about Bronwyn's mom not paying attention to certain signs, she might be the same way. She might be like, shit man, if this comes back, whatever, it is what it is. I'm not telling anybody anything. I'm not telling anybody any symptoms I have. I'm just gonna deal with it.

Lori (27:07.439)
Yeah, whatever. Yeah, I'm out. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And I could see her being like that, especially her personality type, you know, most definitely.

Kelli (27:18.946)
For sure. For sure.

Wendy (27:21.902)
Yeah, yeah.

Wendy (27:26.138)
So after that happens outside Angie is talking about the text message she got from Lisa about borrowing money for vacation and using a card. Okay, this next scene I literally laughed my ass off and Matt happened to be in the room with me and we were watching it together and he's like, what, what is going on? She starts throwing all her black.

cards, her Black American Express, but the one that got me was the American Express Prada bracelet that you just tap to pay. I want to know all about this. I've never even heard of such a thing.

Kelli (28:03.444)
I know, me neither, but I was like, what? You do what?

Lori (28:04.387)
you

Wendy (28:08.186)
Yes, yes, I mean that's

Lori (28:10.937)
I love how Heather and Brittany were like, let me pick this card up for you and put it in my bra.

Wendy (28:18.637)
Bye.

Kelli (28:18.744)
Heather said, Heather said, I'm just excited to see a black card. Hide it from Brittany or Jared, I'll never hear from her again.

Wendy (28:26.53)
Yep. And Brittany gets one and she's like, Brittany picks one up. She's like, can I use this?

Lori (28:27.661)
Right, that was great.

Kelli (28:35.16)
So good.

Wendy (28:36.378)
But that was, I'm sorry, that was another great epic housewives scene. that is, I mean, listen, it was planned. It was 100 % planned, but I'm here for that. I am here for that.

Kelli (28:43.875)
Yeah.

Lori (28:49.433)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (28:50.582)
And listen, I gotta be honest with you, I'm enjoying Salt Lake City because I like some drama, but I don't like the whole season to be about drama and I don't like your husband's cheating on you. This is decent drama, just enough. It's annoying that the whole episode, it lasted this long, but this is good fun drama, I feel like.

Wendy (29:21.464)
Yeah, I, yeah. No, it's, it's, it's, it's comical. I mean, I think it's comical because then the next thing that comes up is Lisa says to Angie, like, you can dish it, but you can't take it. Angie says, shut your effing mouth. And Angie says, I'm going to come over there and pull your ears back further than you've been, than they've been pulled by your effing facelift. And every, everyone at the table is laughing. I mean, literally everyone at the table was, I mean, I was laughing too.

Kelli (29:21.836)
Right? Like it's not dark. It's not dark drama. Yeah. Right. Right.

Lori (29:24.183)
No, it's not dark. It's foolishness. It's foolishness.

Lori (29:48.799)
She said, it looks like you're stuck in a wind tunnel. then Lisa's like, Lisa's like, didn't get a, I didn't get a facelift, but I do have 14 threads. 12 on each side or something. Which says a lot. It's a lot of threads.

Wendy (29:51.874)
Yeah, you're dead.

Wendy (30:00.632)
No, 12 on each side.

Kelli (30:02.574)
Bro, on each side.

Wendy (30:06.298)
Heather throws the napkin over her face. mean, just the reaction of the women at the table. It was just, I mean, it was funny. It was just so funny. And that's when Lisa says to Angie, like, what are you standing on? Like shorty, like you're taller than me. I was like.

Lori (30:14.317)
Yes, that was great.

Kelli (30:17.622)
Yeah, like this is good fun drama.

Lori (30:29.151)
my gosh, I was like, you gotta be kidding me. What grade are we in? my God. my gosh. So funny. I was like.

Kelli (30:33.516)
Yeah, like, this is like a pissing contest, like everybody whip your dick out and see whose is longer, like what?

Wendy (30:42.346)
It was funny though. I'm sorry. I was laughing.

Kelli (30:46.378)
Yeah, no, this is good. This is good.

Wendy (30:50.538)
Angie tells Lisa she needs a therapist and then Bronwyn comes out and Heather goes in and, Heather's excited to meet with Terrence cause she's never done anything like this before. And Lisa back outside is yelling like a lunatic, like, and Whitney's trying to break it up. Like she's in the middle, the middle trying to break it up, but like the

Kelli (31:11.118)
You can't understand what either one of them are saying at this point.

Lori (31:14.135)
No, forget it. Forget it.

Wendy (31:14.658)
Right. And Braun was back at the table crying and Meredith is the only one who notices it because the other ones are all fighting and she's like, are you okay? Like, she wasn't okay because she just got some really like devastating news. Yeah, yeah. And then Meredith like yells, you guys gotta stop it for a minute. And then, you know, they do, or they're like, wait, something's really happening. Like.

Lori (31:28.515)
news, right? Yeah, yeah.

Kelli (31:28.622)
Startling news, yeah.

Lori (31:39.843)
Yeah. And you know, when Whitney said in her confessional, she is right. It is sad that Lisa always needs to appear perfect. Like she doesn't, she doesn't ever really share her feelings or anything that's going on. She doesn't, she's very closed. She's a very closed off person. Not sad.

Kelli (32:01.378)
Yeah, she's very worried about what other people think of her, which I get, we know plenty of people like that, but you're on a reality TV show and people are gonna find things out about you that you otherwise wouldn't, otherwise they wouldn't know. People are gonna dig things up on you because of the platform you're on and you kinda have to deal with that. And the best thing to do is acknowledge it, not hide it.

Lori (32:05.175)
Yes.

Lori (32:17.327)
Mm-mm-mm.

Lori (32:24.897)
You best have a thick skin.

Yes. No, didn't, no.

Kelli (32:31.734)
I loved it when Whitney told them to leave and Andrew said, well, I'm not leaving. Well, then I'm not leaving. It's like, my God.

Wendy (32:42.938)
That's stupid because she told the driver, Lisa told the driver to keep the car running and keep it close. But meanwhile, I did too. Like that was her, you know, her opportunity.

Kelli (32:44.653)
Yes!

Right. I really thought Lisa was gonna leave at that point

Lori (32:54.595)
feel like she likes fighting. She likes it.

Kelli (32:58.762)
I think she just wants to be the last man standing. She does not want anybody to ever think they're getting the best of her. So she is just gonna stand there even if it's just acting a fool. She's not gonna back down. And how about, it's a huge, she's not gonna back down either. Right. How about when Bronwyn and Brittany are hugging and Bronwyn's like, who would've,

Lori (33:13.369)
Well, I think that's a problem with her and Angie is Angie's not, Angie's not going to back down either. So it's just endless.

Wendy (33:20.344)
Yeah. Maybe Lisa's Greek.

Kelli (33:27.694)
thought I would have been hugging her. Like, is anybody catching them?

Wendy (33:28.6)
Right.

Lori (33:31.417)
This is how bad it is. This is how bad it is.

And how about when Lisa comes out from her reading and I guess it was Whitney S or, what did he say about friendship? And she says, well, the psychic says that I just love so big and all this shit. and they were like, he really said that she, I'm paraphrasing. And it just reminded me of like when she was on what's what happens live and said that she met a boy band.

But meanwhile, she was just like singing with them from the front row. so I was just like, girl, I bet he never said anything like that about you with your friends. Yeah, very off.

Kelli (34:05.175)
yeah, yeah, yeah.

Kelli (34:15.79)
Her perception's a little off. Her perception's a little.

Wendy (34:22.778)
Terrence is with Heather and he tells her it's a rebirth. It's all about taking back your power. And he says, do you feel like love is not working out for you? And Heather starts laughing. I mean, I do think it's a rebirth for Heather though. I think he's right about that.

Kelli (34:36.546)
Yeah, understatement, understatement.

Kelli (34:43.552)
hope she meets somebody. She has annoyed me in seasons past, but she's very funny. She's very attractive. She's like, I don't know. I don't know why she can't. Yeah. I hope she meets someone.

Wendy (34:45.944)
Yeah, I do too.

Lori (34:51.181)
He's very funny.

Lori (34:55.339)
It's very vivacious.

Wendy (34:58.467)
Yeah.

So then back outside Angie says to Lisa, pick up my cars and go shopping at Nordstrom's. Lisa says, I don't shop at Nordstrom's. And Angie says, well, your boyfriend does. Lisa said, what about the soup man, bitch?

Lori (35:13.231)
Yeah, what is it? What is Superman?

Kelli (35:13.25)
Yeah, who is the soup man?

Wendy (35:16.384)
Angie yells, what is a soup man? And everyone is like, what is a soup man? Who's the soup man?

Kelli (35:24.856)
They're just as confused as we are.

Wendy (35:24.876)
I was like, yeah.

Lori (35:26.957)
Didn't they say something about Seinfeld?

Wendy (35:30.618)
no, no, Meredith. Meredith said that in her confessional. Wasn't there some kind of Seinfeld thing with the suit, man? And then Mary's like, I'm hungry. Honestly, every time they're fighting, it's always over food. And Mary's always the one asking about the food. Like they're always eating. I mean, she's hungry because she didn't eat the salmon. Stop this.

Kelli (35:30.638)
Yeah, the- the- no soup for you, the soup Nazi.

Lori (35:37.047)
okay. Yeah.

Kelli (35:39.586)
Yes!

Kelli (35:44.984)
Ha ha!

Kelli (35:54.09)
Yeah, like can we eat? Yeah.

Give Mary some food.

Lori (36:01.519)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (36:01.976)
I mean, the producer does ask Lisa in her confessional, who is the suit man? She said, I think that's a question for Terrence. No, Lisa. That means Lisa made this shit up. Right? I mean, just give her the answer. You're the one who said it.

Kelli (36:10.508)
Yeah, what did that mean?

Lori (36:14.937)
Yeah.

Kelli (36:20.364)
Right, like what? Like, just say it.

Wendy (36:25.652)
Lori (36:25.835)
And Bronwyn was right in saying to Angie, know, you know, you don't have to engage. Like the only thing you have control of is yourself. So you just feed into her by your, how your responses, how you respond to her. And she's right.

Kelli (36:34.444)
Right.

Kelli (36:45.666)
Right, right.

Wendy (36:46.894)
Well, she is right, but like you said, it's very hard for her not to respond. mean, it's hard to just, yeah, it's right. It's hard for her not to.

Lori (36:51.463)
yeah, yeah, it just goes against every grain of her nature.

Lori (36:59.085)
And I guess Angie's point is too, is that, you know, this is something, this is behavior that Lisa keeps doing over and over and everybody just kinda moves on from it and kinda gets over it and kinda, you know, just because you're used to bad behavior doesn't mean that you should let it continue. So I kinda think that's kind of some of Angie's frustration too. She's like, what the fuck?

Wendy (37:09.059)
accepts it.

Lori (37:30.275)
you know, why do we keep letting her do the same kind of moves over and over and over just because we're used to it doesn't mean that we should be used to it.

Kelli (37:44.407)
Yeah, well, Mary had a very good point though, because she told Angie when Lisa was your friend, you went along with what Lisa was feeding you. were, you know, your ears were wide open when she wanted to talk smack about somebody else. Yeah, I don't think Angie's innocent in all of this. I just don't think she's the instigator.

Wendy (37:53.539)
Yes.

Lori (37:53.571)
This is true.

Lori (37:58.991)
This is true.

Wendy (38:04.377)
Right.

Lori (38:07.79)
Yes.

Kelli (38:10.082)
But like Lori said, she's not gonna back down. That's just not in her makeup. She's not backing down. Well, thankfully at this point, Lisa goes in for her reading.

Wendy (38:10.436)
I agree.

Lori (38:14.753)
It's just not in her makeup, no.

Lori (38:20.779)
My God. The exhaustion was real.

Wendy (38:21.273)
Yes.

Kelli (38:25.035)
Exactly.

Wendy (38:26.5)
So Lisa goes in and he says, who is the water sign? Scorpio, she said, my husband. He said, I feel like you're just rebuilding trust. It's like an elastic band. You keep snapping it back together. You need to figure out how to keep the communication. You need to keep the communication with each other again. Lisa says, that's probably true. And I think that, you know, I think he also really

I think he was probably right. think that's why she is acting out because I think that she is having problems with her husband, especially if she has all these lawsuits going on with all this information.

Lori (39:04.665)
Sure. Yeah.

Kelli (39:04.952)
Well, so that's what I was thinking. Like, listen, they're flashing back to conversations between them talking about Jack moving out and she says she feels alone, but I think it probably has more to do with these lawsuits, but they're not talking about that on camera. We're not gonna see any of that.

Wendy (39:15.332)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (39:21.592)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (39:27.702)
No, no we're not. We're not.

Lori (39:30.447)
But I do feel like Lisa's reaction to the psychic was kind of real. I feel like he caught her off guard and I think that he said things to her that she was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, like, yeah.

Kelli (39:37.944)
For sure.

Wendy (39:37.946)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (39:44.845)
Yes, yes, and she admitted to him. But you know, even when she went back to the table and Whitney made that comment about her always wanting to look perfect, I feel like she did open up a little bit and she was like, you know, it's just some things about John and I, and it's okay for her to not go into detail at that point. At this point, clearly Lisa's not trusting anyone at the table. So.

Lori (40:08.345)
Yeah, absolutely.

Kelli (40:14.398)
The fact that she even said that, thought was like, for her, pretty impressive.

Lori (40:22.319)
I mean, they're gonna find out what they, they're gonna find out what she talked about eventually. So it's kinda like she gotta let the cat out of the bag a little bit.

Wendy (40:22.328)
Yeah, it definitely was.

Kelli (40:26.568)
Exactly. Exactly. Yeah.

Wendy (40:32.354)
Yeah, and honestly, mean, the fact that she really broke down and was crying and, you know, he said, like, you guys have to find your, you don't know how to find your way back to each other, but you, you have to, like, you have to, you have to find your way back. And I think that's really what it comes down to because she said, like, he's my best friend. And I believe that, I mean, I believe that he is her rock. I mean, they have been together for quite some time and they have two kids together and they have the business together and, you know.

Kelli (40:44.355)
Yeah.

Lori (40:52.281)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (41:03.054)
It's a lot. It's a lot.

Kelli (41:04.312)
Yeah. Yeah.

Wendy (41:07.226)
net Lisa comes out, then it's Angie's turn.

Wendy (41:16.3)
Lisa brings up again that she didn't have a facelift, that she only had 12 threads on each side, because she needed to make sure that that was clear.

Kelli (41:24.728)
She's like, I just want to reiterate from before I went in for my reading. So nobody gets it twisted.

Wendy (41:29.945)
Yeah.

Lori (41:32.215)
Yes, so no one's confused.

Wendy (41:32.654)
Right, right.

Wendy (41:37.018)
Angie, when she sees Terrence, he asked, said, something about expansion of the business. You're expanding into another business. You're going to either represent a brand or create a brand. He's like, I keep hearing product. And she's like, well, we're in the process of designing sunglasses. I thought she was going to say the vodka partnership because she's

Lori (41:56.239)
You know what? I wasn't surprised. I forget where I saw it. Yeah, forget where I... Yeah, several months ago, I was watching a podcast and they were like going hard on it. They were like, Angie really needs to do a sunglass company. And ever since then, it stuck in my head. And as soon as he said it, I was like, I bet you it's

Kelli (41:56.472)
So did I!

Wendy (42:01.634)
Or no, tequila, tequila, not vodka, tequila.

Kelli (42:03.928)
So did I, whatever alcohol she's doing.

Wendy (42:06.531)
Yeah.

Wendy (42:18.236)
definitely.

Kelli (42:24.724)
Okay, I mean, it makes sense, yeah. When she said her daughter rides horses, I thought she said her dad. I was like, damn, thank you. I'm typing and I'm like, did she just say her dad? And then she said, okay, good, I'm glad you did too. I'm not crazy.

Lori (42:24.783)
Bet you sunglasses. Yeah. Oh, it totally makes total sense. Yeah. Smart move on her part.

Wendy (42:29.828)
Yeah.

Lori (42:36.001)
I thought she said her dad too. I thought she said her dad. was like.

Yeah!

Cause I was like, wow, this guy's like really got it going on. We need to find out what, you know, supplements he's going. Yeah.

Wendy (42:53.941)
Yes.

Kelli (42:58.51)
That's so funny.

Wendy (42:59.63)
Yeah, because he said June is a travel month for you. And she's like, know, her child, you know, rides and competes horses. And he feels like there's an injury, but not around the child, perhaps about the animal. Like that was, you know, scary to be quite honest with you. I mean, it's good to hear that it's not about the child, but.

Kelli (43:20.195)
Yeah.

Yeah.

Lori (43:24.365)
And good thing it only ended up to be the plastic pony.

Wendy (43:27.683)
Let's hope that's all it is, right?

Kelli (43:28.386)
Right, that's all it is. Well, June has come and passed and we haven't heard anything, so that's good.

Lori (43:35.151)
So that's good.

Wendy (43:36.6)
Yeah. Meredith is next.

Wendy (43:43.258)
and

Lori (43:43.501)
I don't even remember what he said to her. That's how much I pay attention when it comes to her.

Kelli (43:47.31)
He asks her if someone's struggling with mental health.

Lori (43:51.328)
with mental health. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Wendy (43:51.672)
Yes, yes.

Kelli (43:54.359)
And while she's sitting there having her reading, Angie goes in to grab her box, her bin.

Lori (44:00.557)
Yeah, yeah. Okay, yeah.

Wendy (44:00.662)
Yes.

It's almost like cutting the ties to a specific friendship you don't trust this friend's narrative. Don't let that pull you down and live your honesty.

Kelli (44:14.904)
That's what Terrence said to Meredith.

Wendy (44:16.448)
Yes, yes.

Lori (44:17.071)
Now, you think that he was, do you think she was thinking he was referring to Andy or Lisa?

Kelli (44:26.208)
I thought Lisa personally.

Lori (44:28.387)
that I was wondering like what Meredith thought he, like who Meredith thought he was referring to.

Wendy (44:28.44)
Yeah, I thought.

Kelli (44:34.477)
Yeah.

Wendy (44:36.878)
But I wonder what the mental health struggle is, because she didn't really respond to that.

Lori (44:43.181)
Maybe one of her kids.

Kelli (44:43.384)
She didn't, but she did have that one nephew who was struggling that one season. But I hope he's doing well.

Wendy (44:48.162)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (44:57.433)
And then how about Jared calls and she's so weird, Brittany. He calls and she's like, I'm gonna answer it. Are you guys okay with that? Why are you asking?

Kelli (45:10.466)
because it was set up because he knew he was calling while she was on camera. 100 % that was a set up phone call because this loser, Osmond, needs to be on TV. He's such a loser.

Lori (45:14.893)
Yeah.

Lori (45:25.135)
Ugh.

Lori (45:29.263)
I was just weird. was just like, why don't you ask?

Kelli (45:30.871)
Yep.

Wendy (45:32.132)
So Angie brings her big box outside. tells Lisa that she's a full grown woman. She's a business woman. You can solve this. Mary brings her back to the table and she asks like, why do we have this big old Tupperware here? But it was Angie.

Kelli (45:46.999)
It was like a breakup thing. It reminded me of Rachel or Ross taking back the, what was that shirt? Frankie says, know, just do it or relax. The Frankie says relax shirt.

Lori (45:49.271)
Yeah, was very infantile.

Lori (45:57.677)
Yes, yeah, yeah,

Lori (46:02.967)
Yes. Yes. Sure. Yeah.

Wendy (46:07.35)
Lisa says to Angie, you're just jealous because I'm working with Karastasis. Angie said, are you working with Karastasis? I'm like, my God, how many plugs an episode are they going to get?

Kelli (46:12.265)
my god.

Lori (46:13.999)
Hmm.

Lori (46:19.129)
Mm-hmm, a lot.

Kelli (46:19.278)
Well, not only that, it's like clearly this basically comes down to they really are jealous of each other. They really just are jealous of each other. And they're both just as guilty as the other.

Lori (46:34.051)
And they're both acting just as infantile as the other. It's just unbelievable. Unbelievable. And I love how Bronwyn's just sitting there. She's just drinking the wine. Drinking the wine. That'd be me.

Kelli (46:37.023)
my gosh, it's like children, children.

Kelli (46:45.314)
Yeah.

Wendy (46:49.528)
I like it when Lisa said to Angie, who's my best friend? And Angie's like, I don't know, Ben Affleck.

Lori (46:54.287)
Uh, I never was laughing.

Kelli (46:56.32)
Yes, that was so good. That was so good. Was she trying to say that the person who manufactured Harry Cassie, okay, is her best friend?

Wendy (46:58.202)
She's

Wendy (47:05.326)
the head of Karastasis is, yes, that's her best friend, yes. And they're gonna call, yes, that's her best friend. I'm like, you've gotta be kidding me, seriously? Like that, like.

Lori (47:11.469)
god.

Kelli (47:15.586)
Yeah. Yeah.

Lori (47:19.993)
But the ending, the ending was the best. The ending of the episode.

Wendy (47:20.189)
Wendy (47:26.234)
Well, wait, Whitney goes in and she's with Terrence and he asked Whitney why she feels like communication is upside down in the home. You kind of shut down a little bit in the last two years. There's also frustration business wise, like what's stressing you out about the business? She's like, a failure took over.

Lori (47:42.287)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (47:52.826)
He said you just have to be your authentic self is basically what he said to her and

Kelli (47:56.175)
Listen, she's looking for validation from her husband. She's not gonna get it. She's looking for a big giant pat on the back from her husband. You're not getting it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you. You're just not. And listen, this is what we do as women, as moms, as wives, as girlfriends. We expect certain things that maybe our partner just isn't, we're just not gonna get. Don't let it.

Lori (48:00.697)
No.

Wendy (48:01.082)
Mm.

Wendy (48:07.04)
No, you're not because he's no. Yeah.

Lori (48:25.091)
Listen, no one is going to appreciate you. The only person who's going to appreciate you is you. So don't be looking for it from anybody else because we're women, we're moms, and we always do more than our partner. And that's just how it is. That's just how it is.

Kelli (48:25.74)
Fuck your life up, though.

Kelli (48:30.085)
Right. Bottom line.

Right. Figure it out.

Right.

Kelli (48:46.05)
Right, right. Typically, yeah, in our lives, yes. It's just the way it is. And I'm not saying any one of our husbands or Justin for that matter doesn't appreciate what Whitney does for him, but she might just be looking for some validation that he's not, know, he doesn't know he has to give her, probably unless she tells him, but, and then it like negates it.

Wendy (48:53.262)
Yes, definitely.

Lori (49:09.749)
Mm-hmm, because that's how it goes.

Kelli (49:14.158)
Like that's just not, it's for the most part, typically it's just not how they're wired. Like just stop looking for it, because you're probably not gonna get it and you're only upsetting yourself by setting these standards.

Lori (49:14.436)
Yes.

Wendy (49:14.754)
Right. Right.

Lori (49:26.455)
In the meantime, right. Well, it's almost the same thing with Brahman with our mother. You want something to be maybe what it's not, or you want your mother to say, I'm sorry, I was such an asshole to you when you were young and confused and pregnant and alone and I wasn't there for you. And I don't think that's gonna happen either.

Kelli (49:52.099)
Nope, clearly not, no, no. She's defending her behavior. listen, there are some people online who are defending her mother, like, this is the Mormon way. And if you are part of this religion, then you know that.

Wendy (49:53.082)
It's not, ever.

Lori (49:54.127)
It's not.

Lori (50:09.795)
Well, it all comes down to the mom view, okay? It comes down to the mom view with Brittany. Like, some people will just do whatever they can to put their kids first, and some people don't.

Kelli (50:17.645)
Yes.

Kelli (50:26.328)
Well, yeah, I mean, she said that their worth in that religion is who they're with, who their partner is. So really, I mean, they're trying to live up to standards that were set for them by a religion.

you know, most of us don't follow those standards.

Lori (50:51.073)
And then Brittany's certainly not putting her, she's certainly not putting her, you know, children first in her life. It's just, maybe she's just not capable of it. Maybe she's not capable of being that kind of a mom.

Wendy (50:59.48)
No.

Kelli (51:05.494)
No, listen, I'm sure I've told you guys this story years ago when I was younger. I wasn't even dating Eric yet. don't think maybe, maybe I was dating him, but we weren't married. I went to a bridal shower for a friend of mine. And I remember her mother saying at the bridal shower, this is going to sound like an unpopular opinion, but you need to put your spouse before your children. Because eventually those children are going to grow up and they're going to move out and it's just going to be you and your spouse. And if you haven't put that person first in your life,

you're gonna be lost when your kids move out. And I was not raised that way. My mother always put us first. And I thought that that was the most outlandish thing I've ever heard in my life. But you know what? There's something to be said for that to some extent. However, in Brittany's case, I don't think putting Jared Osmond before your daughters is the right move.

Lori (51:43.363)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Lori (51:50.649)
To some extent, yes.

Wendy (51:59.514)
No. No. No.

Lori (51:59.535)
No, no, no. But it all comes down to a balance. A balance, you know, of doing like you said, putting your spouse first, but then in some instances putting your kid first. Like, it's all a big, it's all a big juggle. It's a shitshow, people, okay?

Kelli (52:06.384)
for sure.

Kelli (52:16.746)
It is. Listen, and no matter what you do, it's not gonna be the right thing.

Lori (52:20.919)
Yeah,

Wendy (52:23.907)
Amen to that.

Kelli (52:24.526)
All right, let's get back to the show. That's our Ted Talk for the night.

Lori (52:24.94)
Yeah, so just yeah.

Wendy (52:26.819)
All right.

Lori (52:28.248)
Yeah.

Wendy (52:29.582)
Another thing that he tells Whitney is don't close up shop just yet. And also you have a snake. Yeah, I do too. You have a snake you have to get rid of someone who you think is a friend that you cannot trust. You know who it is instinctually, trust your instincts and just create a distance. Doesn't mean you have to end the friendship, just stay away from their chaos. That's Lisa.

Lori (52:37.007)
I liked that for her.

Kelli (52:40.321)
I did too.

Kelli (52:55.904)
And in walks Lisa because she's leaving.

Lori (52:58.551)
Yes, with her, yeah.

Wendy (52:59.872)
Absolutely. It's 100 % Lisa. Yes. Yep. Lisa leaves. Exactly.

Kelli (53:01.292)
Right? Yeah.

Wendy (53:08.567)
Angie's back outside. Angie says, I don't know what you guys want me to say. You want me to kiss the ring, but I'm sick of it. This is after Lisa left and Angie picks up the toy horse and she throws it on the ground and Mary says, Angie, like stop, like, you know,

Lori (53:24.611)
Yeah, stop throwing stuff around. Stop getting all jacked up about it.

Wendy (53:26.745)
Right.

Right. Mary gets up and tells Angie to calm down and Mary's yelling like at her to stop. It's not that deep. And Mary says, I don't like being around this like blind rage. She said, you're stronger than that. Mary was really trying to talk Lisa down and you know, and, but Angie got pissed at her. She's like, you know, everyone's going to back is going to, you know, like go back to her. Everyone forgives her. And Mary said, well, what did you say? You said she's

Kelli (53:44.396)
Yes, she was. Yes, she was.

Wendy (53:55.682)
you've gone back to me and Mary said, that's not what I've done. And she leaves. Cause Lisa, Angie was saying to Mary, like you've already forgiven her all the horrible things she said about you and you've forgiven her. And Mary's like, you know, you're not listening to me. Like that's not what happened. And Mary just is like, I'm out of here. And I think really, yeah, because like you said, like Mary is like the, mean, at this point, I feel like she tries to be the peacemaker. Even if Lisa did say horrible things about her.

Lori (54:13.241)
Yes, she couldn't take it.

Lori (54:20.271)
Mm-hmm.

Wendy (54:25.754)
Mary has moved past those things because she's at a point in her life where like it doesn't really matter, right? These things don't matter. Right, exactly.

Kelli (54:32.302)
She's got real shit going on. Like her kid's life is at risk.

Lori (54:34.605)
Right. And not for nothing, right, not for nothing, she's a pastor. And so as a highly religious Christian woman, part of her gig is to forgive. So, cause you can't forgive, don't be pissed at her cause she, if she can.

Wendy (54:38.914)
Right. Right.

Kelli (54:41.346)
Yes.

Kelli (54:47.532)
Yes. Yes.

Wendy (54:50.51)
Right.

Kelli (54:56.738)
Right. Good point.

Lori (55:00.099)
So yeah, so she was just done, she was done with the whole thing. She was like, fuck this.

Kelli (55:02.636)
And then Mary walks through to leave while Whitney's getting her reading.

Wendy (55:05.303)
Yep, yep, Mary leaves, Whitney's still getting a reading. Terrence tells her that she needs to make space for herself. Angie back outside is yelling, I don't know who the soup man is. I don't even eat soup. I don't do anything illegal with soup. I'm like, okay.

Lori (55:06.863)
Poor Whitney. Poor Whitney.

Kelli (55:26.87)
At this point Angie is going off for no reason because Lisa's not even there anymore.

Lori (55:30.307)
Yeah, she's just right. She's just lost her mind. And it's what I said. It just keeps it just keeps going. It's like the Energizer bunny. just it keeps going.

Wendy (55:36.196)
Right.

Kelli (55:39.106)
Yep. But what Bronwyn said was very good advice. You don't have to take it, but you also don't have to engage in it either. Yep.

Lori (55:47.223)
Right, that's what I said before. you just, I mean, and I mean, that's how, that's how she kind of keeps Lisa kind of like in check a little bit because she doesn't, she won't necessarily feed into it. She will go back at our show, Starting to Gray, but we never see her like, you know, throwing plastic ponies around and saying, you're shorter than me. Like she doesn't, you know, she doesn't.

Wendy (56:07.674)
She doesn't lose it. She doesn't lose it. No, right.

Lori (56:16.74)
go down to that level and I, you know, if you don't engage with Lisa in that way, then what's she going to feed off? There's nothing left.

Kelli (56:23.947)
Exactly.

Wendy (56:27.896)
Yeah, it's not a good situation. Angie wants to really, I feel like she just wants to assert her dominance and say that I'm not afraid of Lisa, I'm not gonna kiss the ring, I'm going to stand up to her. But that's not ever gonna work because she's never, right, exactly, it's for nothing.

Lori (56:48.281)
No, it's for nothing. It's for nothing.

Wendy (56:56.898)
And that's when next Brittany announces that she's going to call Jared back. And Heather announces, we see coming up for the next episode, Heather announces that they're going to be with Captain Jason and the super yacht. Thank God.

Kelli (57:10.634)
I'm so excited for that.

Lori (57:11.907)
Okay but wait a second, wait a second. What about the end of the episode? When they're both, when they're making gestures with their hands in their mouth to Brittany.

Kelli (57:27.502)
didn't see that.

Lori (57:28.303)
Oh, come on. Oh, girls, this is the best part of the episode. Best part of the episode. Of course. The best part of... Oh, oh, oh, okay. You got to go on. You have to watch it.

Wendy (57:29.645)
I didn't see that either.

Kelli (57:31.246)
I must have had my head down. Wait a minute, wait a minute though. Did you watch it on Peacock? There's your problem. Me neither. Fucking on demand sucks. We got to watch it on Peacock. But I had to watch it last night because I knew we were doing this today and I was working until five. Fucking Peacock is the way to go.

Wendy (57:37.337)
I didn't watch it.

Lori (57:48.279)
You have to go and watch it on peak. It's the last, just watch the last five minutes. It is TV gold. I laughed so hard. It's so, you have to watch it. you have to watch it. It's the best part of the episode. The best part.

Wendy (57:57.806)
That must be when she's calling him.

Kelli (57:58.071)
I'm, I'm as soon as we log off, as soon as we log off, I'm fucking, I'm going to put it on Peacock and I'm going to fast forward until the end.

Wendy (58:06.063)
Yeah.

That, yeah, that must be when she says she's calling him and then they're doing that behind her back. That is funny.

Lori (58:13.487)
no, right to her face. It's hysterical. It's hysterical. you got to watch it. You got to watch it. It's great. Yeah, so the yacht looks good. Yeah, the yacht looks good.

Kelli (58:16.43)
Even better. Even better.

Wendy (58:18.296)
my gosh.

Kelli (58:24.204)
Unbelievable.

Wendy (58:24.218)
So on Watch What Happens, Whitney Rose was on Watch What Happens Live. And it starts out with Andy saying to her that he really loved her honesty about Wild Rose Beauty. And he felt like he was glad that she could be open and honest. But then he's like, well, how much did you lose? When he does this kind of shit, it drives me crazy. And she's like,

Kelli (58:27.532)
And yeah.

Kelli (58:52.461)
Me too.

Wendy (58:54.026)
she didn't answer and he's like a hundred thousand and she's like no more and he's like and then yeah

Kelli (58:58.882)
Here's the thing with Andy too. You ever see Jeff Lewis try to ask him questions? And he gets so angry. But he'll ask this woman how much money she lost. Get outta here.

Wendy (59:04.429)
yeah. Yeah.

Lori (59:06.393)
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

And like when he just did that thing with the, I don't want to show you guys, watch it. But when I do the clips, I saw that you had one about the, that sometimes people with veneers get bad breath. Who is it? That he did this thing with like green smoke coming out of her mouth and like, just not, yeah, sometimes he can be very like catty.

Wendy (59:27.817)
yeah.

Kelli (59:27.852)
yeah yeah yeah.

Kelli (59:36.012)
Yeah, so shady.

Lori (59:39.565)
Very, very catty.

Kelli (59:39.96)
Yeah. Yes.

Wendy (59:41.666)
Yeah, he can be. But Whitney said, listen, she's got multiple streams of income, like her prism is doing well and that she thinks that things are going to be fine.

Lori (59:56.537)
They had a lot of talk about her boobs.

Wendy (01:00:00.378)
about Whitney's boobs.

Kelli (01:00:00.397)
and I didn't watch Watcher.

Lori (01:00:02.351)
about Whitney's boobs, yeah. About her outfit. And they were saying that she was saying how she was the first one to meet his daughter when he first, yeah, when he first got his daughter. And now how his daughter was hanging out with Whitney in the green room before the show. And his little daughter was just like transfixed by her boobs, because they were like so out.

Kelli (01:00:16.831)
Andys?

Lori (01:00:31.684)
It's funny. It's cute. It was funny. So we'll see if everybody can stop arguing for five minutes on the next episode. I would appreciate that. It's still much.

Kelli (01:00:32.59)
it's so funny.

Wendy (01:00:34.649)
Yeah.

Wendy (01:00:42.02)
I hope the next episode we're actually on the boat. I hope we finally get on the boat the next episode. Because I mean, we're, I don't know. I feel like it's just like, I wanna see happiness. I wanna see them all together one time where there's not fighting. Because we haven't seen that yet at episode five. Like every episode there's been fighting.

Kelli (01:00:48.738)
Yeah.

Lori (01:01:06.287)
That's just too much.

Kelli (01:01:06.69)
Well, because they say they're gonna move on and then they don't like then they some one of them does something shady and then,

Wendy (01:01:06.746)
So.

Wendy (01:01:14.68)
Yeah. Well, not one of them, Lisa. It's always Lisa.

Kelli (01:01:16.046)
Yeah, it is always Lisa. It is. It is.

Lori (01:01:17.923)
Lisa. Exactly. Exactly.

Wendy (01:01:22.522)
I mean, I think it comes down to, you know, I've said this before, Lisa's the reason that there is a Salt Lake City. Like she was the first one. She's the one who kind of pushed for it. Like she's the one who knew the producers and she's the one who pushed for it. So.

Kelli (01:01:39.778)
Hey, did you see who was on Watch What Happens Live? I think it was the guy who was with Ashley or maybe it was somebody else. Unpopular opinion, he thinks they should bring Jen Shaw back.

Wendy (01:01:53.068)
Yes, that was, yeah.

Kelli (01:01:56.085)
and Andy was not super into that and neither was the audience. He's like, right, don't you guys think? And there were like two people who were like.

Lori (01:02:02.489)
Yeah.

Wendy (01:02:08.25)
Hehehehehe

Lori (01:02:08.931)
Yeah.

Kelli (01:02:10.988)
I'm like, I don't think they agree with you.

Lori (01:02:17.027)
always know.

Wendy (01:02:17.21)
don't know. I don't know. You know, this is my thought on this whole Gen Shaw thing.

She did a crime. She pled guilty. She served her time. I mean, you have to get back into society and you say that you don't want to reward bad behavior, but I don't know that it's rewarding bad behavior. She's just, it's just, people are gonna watch it. If Jen Shaw comes back, people are gonna watch it. People are curious. They want to know.

how she's doing, they wanna know how Coach Shaw's doing, they wanna know how her kids are doing.

Lori (01:02:57.199)
what her experience was in prison.

Kelli (01:02:57.56)
think Jen, I think Jen Shaw's problem is that she manipulated people, people like us were affected, elderly people were affected by her criminal activity. Whereas Teresa, Wendy Osefo, it, you know, it was banks, was mortgage companies, it was, it wasn't people like us.

Wendy (01:03:16.196)
See, and it's funny you say that.

Kelli (01:03:23.306)
I think that's why Bravo is probably not ever gonna put her back on the show.

Wendy (01:03:29.092)
But I will tell you this during the press conference for Wendy Osefo, like the prosecutor said, this crime does affect all of us because when you defraud an insurance company, it's higher rates for everybody. So these crimes do affect everybody. It's not just, you know, and

Lori (01:03:40.975)
everybody.

Kelli (01:03:41.518)
100 %

Kelli (01:03:46.337)
Of course, of course, but in Jen Shah's case, there are actual victims, there are actual families who are like, you fucking stole this much money from my grandmother. So no, you should not be on TV. You know, that's my personal opinion that that's why probably she will not ever be on a Bravo show again.

Wendy (01:04:11.374)
But think about it, mean, don't know if she was, obviously she's doing her time. I don't know if she's also ordered to pay restitution because if she's ordered to pay restitution, then that means these people will get money back. So if she doesn't have a way to earn the money to pay the restitution, then how are the people gonna get the money back?

Kelli (01:04:24.076)
Yeah.

Kelli (01:04:31.096)
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if she was ordered to pay restitution.

Wendy (01:04:32.812)
I don't know. mean, honestly, I mean, usually you are. know that, know, you know, Stephen McBee tomorrow is supposed to be sentenced, the father, and he part of what the prosecution is asking that he pays $4 million restitution, which is what they believe he stole from the government. So,

Lori (01:04:37.727)
Usually I

Kelli (01:04:46.466)
Yeah.

Wendy (01:04:56.928)
and they're recommending 41 months for him. I don't know what he's gonna get. He can get up to 30 years. They keep saying that. But again, if he's someone who...

Kelli (01:05:05.387)
I would think 41 months would be a gift for him. Right?

Wendy (01:05:09.302)
I would too. I would too, but you know, don't listen, it's a, it's, this is a federal crime. And again, who's he stealing from? It's, it's fraud. It's stealing from all of us too, because we all are the ones who support the federal government. But my thought too with him is if he goes in and he does his 41 months and he pays his restitution when he comes out, I want to see him on McBee dynasty. I do. I want to see him there. I do. And I

Kelli (01:05:20.887)
Of course.

Kelli (01:05:34.156)
Yeah.

Kelli (01:05:38.018)
Yeah.

Wendy (01:05:38.252)
I don't think I'm the only one, to be quite honest with you. I think there's a lot of people.

Kelli (01:05:41.4)
Have they announced a third season?

Wendy (01:05:44.558)
You know, I just saw something on TikTok. I don't know if it's true. Some guy in Kansas City said that someone from McBee dynasty just booked a haircut with him and he was all excited because they're going to start filming season three. I haven't checked it out to see if in fact it is true. I haven't heard it from the, I do too. I haven't heard it from Bravo yet and I haven't heard it from the McBees. But like I said, tomorrow is the actual sentencing. So maybe they're just waiting for that to make the official announcement.

Kelli (01:06:01.283)
I hope it's true.

Kelli (01:06:11.768)
Probably. Or BravoCon.

Wendy (01:06:14.338)
Or BravoCon, yeah. Because they are going. Well, Stephen, Son is going, Stephen Jr. I don't know who else is going from the cast, but.

Kelli (01:06:15.79)
Because they're going.

Kelli (01:06:23.476)
think he's really, really enjoying this stardom, Stephen Jr.

Wendy (01:06:29.306)
Definitely. 100%. He loves the camera. I mean, yeah, that's why he was on Joe Millionaire. He loves it. He loves it.

Kelli (01:06:36.75)
Yeah, yeah. More so than the other two. I know there's three of them, but the other one's not as involved, you know.

Lori (01:06:37.455)
So funny.

Wendy (01:06:41.283)
Yeah, I totally.

Right. Yeah.

Lori (01:06:46.115)
All right, so listen, next Salt Lake pod, I want to know about what you guys thought about the ending of the episode. Yeah, you guys gotta let me know.

Kelli (01:06:54.003)
yeah, I'm going to watch it right now for sure.

Wendy (01:06:54.156)
Okay, we'll let you know. What do we want to ask our viewers? What's the question we want to ask them, our listeners? Maybe about Jen Shaw, if they think she should come back.

Lori (01:07:04.213)
Yeah, if they think she should come back and if she came back, would it deter them or encourage them to watch?

Kelli (01:07:05.548)
I think that's a great question. What do you think?

Kelli (01:07:13.282)
And here's the thing, based on the fact that they literally halted filming while Teresa Giudice was in jail.

Wendy (01:07:21.914)
I knew you were going to bring that up.

Lori (01:07:22.905)
going to go right back.

Kelli (01:07:23.298)
Well, because I want to make a comparison. Do you want to see Jen Shah back? Do you want to see Wendy Osefo back? Because Wendy Osefo's charges are very similar to Teresa's, Jen Shah's are not. So do you want to see Jen back? Do you want to see Wendy back? And if you want to see Wendy back over Jen, why? And is it because the charges are, you know, she didn't, she didn't, you know, directly screw over.

Wendy (01:07:25.774)
you

Lori (01:07:44.697)
Why?

Kelli (01:07:52.984)
people like Jen did.

Lori (01:07:53.943)
Right. Yeah, with the direct line. All right, so let us know, peeps.

Kelli (01:07:57.11)
Right. Right.

Wendy (01:07:58.404)
But there's another twist to that, because I just saw recently that Wendy Osefa was actually born in Nigeria. So she is, yes, she is a citizen. She could be deported. She could be deported.

Kelli (01:08:08.494)
could she be deported?

UN FUCKING BELIEVABLE

Wendy (01:08:17.496)
Yep, she could be deported, but her husband was not. So one of the things people are saying is maybe her husband will try and take the fall and plead guilty to everything and take all the charges so she doesn't get deported because she...

Lori (01:08:33.145)
so she doesn't get deported.

Kelli (01:08:33.868)
Listen, if there's really an email from him to her asking, can we up this to meet the maximum? They're both guilty. There's no way he could take the fall for her because that, if in fact there is that email, and I don't know if there is, that's alleged, that is an admission of guilt on both of their parts. He can't take the fall for her. She could get deported. I mean,

Have we not learned anything people? Are you watching the shows?

Lori (01:09:05.591)
nip nip

Wendy (01:09:05.827)
No.

you

Lori (01:09:09.699)
Listen, Bravo has a very big rap sheet with pictures.

Kelli (01:09:14.326)
Woo! I can't believe that. Did she never get her, but she has degrees.

Lori (01:09:18.315)
Obviously no one learns.

Wendy (01:09:20.43)
Yep. No, she's a citizen, but she's not an American. No, no, no. She's not an American born citizen. You can lose your citizenship.

Kelli (01:09:25.515)
well then she's not gonna get deported.

Kelli (01:09:31.946)
I see, I see. Okay. Okay.

Wendy (01:09:34.862)
She is a citizen, she is a citizen, but she's not.

Kelli (01:09:38.406)
Which is one step farther than Joe Giudice went, correct? He was never a citizen. Okay, okay. what a tangled web we weave.

Wendy (01:09:41.69)
Correct. Correct. He was never a citizen. Correct.

Lori (01:09:49.155)
Yes, yes, yes.

Wendy (01:09:49.722)
