McBee Dynasty Steven Jr. Is Leaving the Farm?!
McBee Dynasty S3 E9 Banks Babies and Bad Blood
This week on McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, the McBee family is hit with major relationship and family bombshells. Kacie discovers that she is definitely pregnant, turning Cole’s birthday celebration into an unforgettable announcement when she gives him the positive pregnancy test as his gift. Cole admits he had hoped they would wait a little longer, but the news is ultimately welcomed. Meanwhile, the family finally learns that Cole and Kristi secretly got married in Las Vegas, with Kristi initially looking completely stunned before happily embracing the news. With Steven Sr. still away, the family begins talking about planning a proper reception, and Tessa’s excitement about being included in these McBee family milestones is absolutely adorable.
Steven Jr. and Alli’s whirlwind relationship takes another turn as Alli decides to move back to Texas with her sister to create some much-needed space. After spending far more time together than either expected, Alli admits that everything has moved incredibly fast and that she needs time to process the relationship and get to know Steven Jr. better. Steven Jr. realizes that he may have moved too quickly and admits that choosing his personal life over the family farm is something he needs to do for himself. He begins seriously considering moving to Texas for half the year and even talks about getting married and establishing a life with Alli there. The rest of the family supports his desire to be happy, but with the McBee operation already undergoing major changes, the timing could not be worse.
And then comes the bombshell that could change everything: the bank is pulling the loan on Steven Jr.’s house, leaving the McBees facing a massive financial problem because they don't have the money to pay it off in full. At the same time, Steven Jr. announces that he is likely leaving the farm, forcing Cole to consider stepping into a larger role. Jesse is making changes to the farmhouse to make Alli more comfortable, while the family is also trying to move forward with their cattle plans, including the new mini Highland calves and an embryo transfer in freezing, snowy conditions. Jake, meanwhile, is shopping for an engagement ring for Tegan, although Steven Jr. manages to hijack the appointment before ultimately deciding to wait. With a pregnancy, a secret wedding, a possible Texas move, shifting farm responsibilities and a financial crisis all happening at once, the McBees are heading into the season finale with plenty of unfinished business and some very bad blood.

Kelli (00:00.847)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Kelly.
Lori (00:03.211)
And Lori.
Kelli (00:05.007)
Tonight we're talking about McBee Dynasty season three, episode nine, Banks, Babies and Bad Blood.
Lori (00:13.032)
Mhm. And I just I wanna let the audience know that I do not have the correct glasses on. So anyone watching on YouTube is gonna see this because I have to I cannot see my own notes. I cannot see myself.
Kelli (00:23.811)
I have like five pairs of reading glasses. I should have just ran you over a pair before we started.
Lori (00:32.116)
No, 'cause I have a very specific pair of computer glasses, like prescription computer glasses. And I and I left them at work so I am like fumbling. So just put it out there.
Kelli (00:35.019)
okay.
All right, we'll look at you.
Kelli (00:48.249)
a couple of things before we start. One, please go to our YouTube and subscribe, go to our socials and follow. We appreciate all of that. please comment. We love the engagement and leave a review if you would be so kind. And we thank you for all of that. the second thing is obviously you've noticed Wendy hasn't been here. we're not gonna really get into it. It's it's her, you know, it's her story to tell. She just has some family stuff going on.
Lori (01:13.74)
Yeah, she got some yeah, some family things going on. Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (01:17.795)
So when she's back with us and we miss her dearly, when she's back with us, if she wants to share, she can share. but we're praying for her family and ask you to do so as well. the third thing I wanna bring up is you know, we watched Beverly Hills when Anne Marie Wiley was on. We didn't really get to know her that much. She was a one and done one season and out.
Lori (01:27.17)
Her family. Absolutely. Yes.
Lori (01:44.014)
Mm.
Kelli (01:45.197)
I don't think she had the most memorable, impactful first season for a housewife, but I think that there were also other elements going on. However, with that said, housewife or no housewife, she has clearly been in an abusive marriage for a decade or more, and has children with this man.
Lori (02:08.374)
Kelli (02:10.998)
I mean she's a she's alleging it, so I'm not gonna I you know, I guess allegedly, but she's alleging it. he was arrested in Florida and apparently the the charges have been dropped.
Yeah. So speaking of reading glasses, I should have been more prepared. I just wanna read her her post, her social media post.
He's more worried about protecting his already ruined reputation than providing for his children, shielding them from the damage he's already caused, and moving forward and uncoupling amicably. We had already been just co-parenting and cohabitating for a long time before the incident in Florida, where he threatened to kill me. FYI, the Florida case was only dismissed because the Florida DA, David Augustine,
Did not notify me of the hearing and is conveniently now avoiding my calls. Seems like they like to protect football players down there. It does not change the fact that he threatened to kill me, or that I am finally escaping 14 years of abuse, or that I have a domestic violence restraining order against him, or that I am now a single mother solely supporting her three children. I have already filed multiple violations to the domestic violence restraining order.
But our criminal justice system is broken. Victims of domestic violence are not protected. This is why women stay silent. This is why women are terrified to speak up and to leave. And this is why women die in the process of leaving abusive men. This is so incredibly sad to me. Frightening, frightening because what she said is so true that women don't leave because the system doesn't protect them or protect their children.
Kelli (03:58.329)
And it's disgusting and it needs to change. This is this woman's a public figure, as as is her husband, the alleged abuser. So he's getting more protect protection than she is. Imagine someone like you and I who just live in a small town in New Jersey, and it's just incredibly scary to me that this is why women are forced to stay in unhealthy and abusive.
Lori (04:08.546)
Mm-hmm.
And she is right.
Kelli (04:28.812)
Relationships.
Lori (04:29.72)
Yeah. And you know, speaking of that, imagine the extra added stress of you know, like the normal housewife in a small town in that kind of relationship, yes, has to put on or does often put on the brave face and carries on as if, but imagine being someone who is affluent
Kelli (04:38.873)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (04:59.018)
and in the public eye and and then on top of that you have to put on that face. Like that's even an extra stressor like that's it's gotta be horrible that's gotta be horrible.
Kelli (05:09.506)
Right.
I'm gonna put some links in our post, you know, for some help if anybody, God forbid, is in that situation. Because th this is like, you know, we kinda stopped following this woman's life after she was not on Beverly Hills anymore. And I just I pray for her, I pray for her kids, I pray for anybody who's in this situation because it's horrible. And and to know that the system is not gonna protect you is even worse. I'm not even gonna say it.
Lori (05:20.449)
Absolutely.
Lori (05:27.799)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (05:35.735)
It is horrible.
Kelli (05:41.849)
I'm not even gonna say it, but this guy's obviously, you know, a a former professional athlete. The amount of protection these guys get is sickening. Sickening. Because they can fucking throw a ball.
Lori (05:53.75)
It is sickening. Absolutely. Yeah.
Right. Yeah. Your paycheck does not make you a better person.
Kelli (06:04.482)
That's right. Or your athletic abilities jerk off.
Lori (06:07.958)
Right. Right. All right. So there we go.
Kelli (06:11.714)
All right, so let's move on. Now we're gonna talk about McBee. Tegan and Casey
Lori (06:16.672)
Yes. Speaking of speaking of Jerkovs. Right.
Kelli (06:20.004)
Speaking of insecure men who try to act like they have big D E. Tegan and Casey are at Allie and Jesse's city house, and then Christy stops by. They say she's getting food or something. I don't know, but she's obviously there to get filled in on the Vegas trip. She does not know yet that Cole and Casey are married and
Lori (06:26.103)
Yeah.
Yeah. Speaking of that.
Kelli (06:46.344)
Nobody's telling her because Casey basically says, I told my parents and now it's up to Cole to tell his mother.
Lori (06:52.268)
Absolutely, which I totally agree with. It's got nothing to do with her. Yeah.
Kelli (06:55.082)
I agree with it, but how awkward like you could tell when Christy left she was like, All right, I feel like well she said it. I feel like there's more to this and that I'm not getting but you know what? That's okay.
and then Steven Jr. and Jesse go look at these mini Highland calves. How cute were they?
Lori (07:17.132)
Really cute, but
You're in all this debt, and now you're putting yourself in more debt for.
Lori (07:33.358)
Pets that are twenty thousand dollars. How many people how many people right, but but that's what they need to sell them for. How many people are out there
Kelli (07:38.39)
I mean listen, they're not paying that.
Kelli (07:44.546)
Right.
Lori (07:48.62)
that have twenty thousand dollars for a pet. Like I don't get I don't get the business concept. Like to me it's like
Kelli (07:55.034)
Well, I think it's like a I think it's like a, you know, the the next new thing. Like people who do have the money, not people like you and I, who want the the new best thing are gonna look up these things and they're gonna throw twenty grand at it.
Lori (08:07.443)
I like I can I can barely afford a cat. I can barely afford a cat. Like I don't know
Kelli (08:13.229)
Right. I don't have any animals because I can't afford anything.
Lori (08:17.368)
Right. But I just don't underst like he's I think he's like the worst business man in the world. Like where are you like it's such a niche market like how many people are there that are gonna spend twenty thousand dollars for a a a cow that you have to blow dry? Like what I don't I'm just not I'm not getting it. Like to me the math is not mathing and I'm like
Kelli (08:36.537)
I don't know.
Lori (08:47.349)
Okay. And then
Kelli (08:47.605)
I know. I feel like Jesse felt the same way you did, because he's looking at them like, Really, this is what we're gonna do? And then and then he softens up to them. But I mean
Lori (08:55.628)
And then there's like weird Frankenstein shit going on, like you're gonna put the embryos in a regular cow and I'm like, What what? What what is going on here?
Kelli (09:06.423)
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, listen, that's probably I mean, they're gonna buy they bought two and then they're gonna use embryos with their female cattle that they already have.
Lori (09:14.466)
And then they bought they brought the embryos.
Right. And I was thinking, okay, like maybe since he's such a great businessman, like maybe his plan is that like Ally and Christy
can run the cows, the Highland cows, through the car wash. And then they'll be all nice and clean. And like maybe they're gonna like double it up. Like use the car wash to wash the calves. I'm I'm making a joke, honey. Listen, one absurd thing can certainly go with the other absurd thing. They're equally absurd.
Kelli (09:48.549)
I don't think you could put an animal through a car wash. I'm like, what are we talk where are we going with this?
Kelli (10:02.159)
That is true. This is this is what cracks me up about Steven Jr. though. He's like, I've been thinking about doing this for two years. It's like he always has to ha be let it be known that he had this idea. Like even if you said you like even if Jesse was like, yeah, I think this is a good idea. It'd be like two years ago, I thought this was a good idea.
Lori (10:03.958)
But I was like, okay.
Kelli (10:24.527)
But he does say that he's been wanting to do this for two to three years now and now that he's calling the shots, he's doing it. He's really feeling himself, isn't he, Stephen Jr. Yeah. and then Stephen Jr. tells Jesse that Allie told him she wants to slow things down and she's moving to Texas with her sister. This girl c probably couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Lori (10:35.374)
Ways.
Lori (10:49.08)
Fast enough. Fast enough. Absolutely. Yeah.
Kelli (10:52.333)
Yep. and th and he's like he's like, you know, well I guess, you know, we were gonna you know, we were talking about getting married. You've known her for a few months and you met her on Instagram. Like the fact that you were talking about getting married is crazy.
Lori (11:04.638)
No. You you as a couple were not talking about getting married. You were talking about getting married. It had nothing to do with her.
Kelli (11:12.142)
Right.
Kelli (11:19.951)
For short.
Lori (11:21.912)
You know, he's like, it's not where I wanted to be at this point in our relationship. Dude, what? You like at two months in, like you what you wanted to be engaged in Livy to like what? It's absolutely bizarre.
Kelli (11:29.817)
You're you right.
Kelli (11:35.959)
It's bizarre. And listen, I know there are people out there who meet, fall in love, and get married right away. And but it's normally when both people are on the same page and it normally just happens not through a DM on Instagram. Because you like the way she looked, because she looks just like your ex. Yeah.
Lori (11:49.356)
Right, like organically kind of a thing. No. That
Lori (11:57.206)
Right. And and you gotta pay her to come out because she's on a TV like it's just
Kelli (12:03.749)
Right. Right. She's getting a contract to appear on your T V show also.
Lori (12:07.744)
It's just so bizarre. The whole thing is so bizarre. Yeah.
Kelli (12:11.043)
Yeah. So Allie and Summer show up at Casey's house for Blair's first birthday party. It's also Cole's birthday. Christy still doesn't know that they're married. Casey tells Allie, there's one more thing I have to tell you. And Allie's like, my god, what? She's like, I think I need to take another pregnancy test. And then we find out that they don't use protection, Casey and Cole.
And they get busy a lot more than the average bear. So she takes the pregnancy test and Allie has no poker face because she looks at it and she's like, my God. Like, so she's pregnant and they're both like freaking out. And then Casey's telling Allie, like, you have to act normal when you go out there and see people. And she's like, I can't.
Lori (13:05.559)
But you know what I thought was crazy when I think it was the scene before that when Jesse is in the truck with Steven Jr. and June and he's talking about all this stuff with Allie and blah blah blah. Like why why doesn't any of his brothers look at him and be like, dude, like what are you even talking like what are you doing? Like this is
Kelli (13:31.823)
So
Lori (13:32.374)
You you're acting cuckoo like this is insane the way you're behaving about a relationship.
Kelli (13:36.376)
I this is what I think. And I've I've said before that I didn't think Steven Jr. wanted to get married and settle down and he just wanted to chase that influencer type girl and blah blah blah. I think I was wrong. I'm gonna admit that I think I was wrong, because I can do that. And I think he really does. I think he really does want to get married and and have kids and start his family. And I think he is very insecure about the fact that
His younger brothers have done it before him. And I think that he is so insecure, and the whole family knows that, that they're very sensitive to the fact that he just keeps trying and trying and trying. After this episode, I kind of saw things differently with Steven Jr. I mean, I still think he's a terrible person for sending those text messages to Allie because those ta those rage texts were horrible. but I do think it's his insecurity.
Lori (14:16.116)
Right, to it. Right. Right. Right. Right.
Lori (14:23.758)
Mm-hmm.
Lori (14:28.086)
horrible. Yeah, horrible. Yeah. Right. But I don't even I don't even it but it's so bizarre because I it's almost not
Lori (14:41.612)
I think the reason the only reason why he wants to get married and have kids is because he's in a compet like it's a competition to him. Like I told you with him, every aspect of him is it's all about a competition.
Kelli (14:59.513)
But don't you think that stems from his insecurity? That's what I mean. And I think that his his brothers are so secure with themselves, they're like they're very sensitive to it to not make him feel even worse.
Lori (15:02.588)
absolute absolutely. Absolutely.
Lori (15:11.072)
Right. I I don't know. I i if it was me and my brother, I'd be like, dude, you you
You're messed up.
Kelli (15:22.775)
I mean s I agree with you that somebody should be like well I think but and I think the girls tried to say it, Casey and Allie, like Allie McBee. I think that somebody does need to sit down and be like, You can't marry a girl you met on Instagram two months ago. That's not smart.
Lori (15:44.62)
He listen, he can't he can't marry anybody because he has an immense amount of work to do on himself. He's not in a position to marry anybody. Even if he met some girl and it was organic and she loved him and he loved her and it was love at first sight. And but it doesn't matter because he does not have the emotional maturity to marry anybody.
Kelli (15:55.897)
Yes.
Lori (16:13.662)
Anyone. He doesn't even have the emotional maturity to be in a serious dating relationship with anybody, no less marry someone.
Kelli (16:22.551)
I agree with you, and here's the other thing, and listen, I'm guilty of it myself. H you hear his mom in this episode say I talk to him five times a day.
Lori (16:34.048)
Yeah, what are you doing? What are you doing? You're not you're the you're not helping him. She's enabling him.
Kelli (16:37.167)
She's very involved in his life. She which which is a beautiful thing. But if you have to call your mom five times a day, that means that you're probably not managing yourself as much as you could be. And she's helping in that area. And I'm guilty of it myself. I mean, I I really am the potcorn of the kettle black right now because I am I am, you know, very involved in my kids' lives. However, they're twenty two and nineteen.
Lori (16:48.172)
Right, you're not right. Right, you're right.
Lori (16:59.736)
But it's right, but it's to a total it's a totally different degree though. I mean, it's her involvement is crippling to his growth as a human being.
Kelli (17:17.027)
And I'm sure, you know, obviously Christy McBee, we've said it, she's like the most normal person on reality TV. it's har it's har it's hard to cut the cord. It's hard to cut the cord.
Lori (17:28.462)
Mm-hmm. She's not doing any favors at all.
Kelli (17:32.001)
No, no. So we're at Blair's birthday party and Blair comes out of her room. Could you just die for those bell bottoms she was wearing? my.
Lori (17:44.076)
And the boots.
Is so.
Kelli (17:48.666)
That outfit was so cute. She's such a cute little girl. Allie Eklund meets Christy's mom, and Christy's mom says to Stephen Jr., I hear she's a keeper. So at this point, Christy was still a fan, obviously. And and you know, she meets everybody. And Allie Eklund's like, everyone's talking about us getting married, and I don't even know what his favorite color is.
Lori (17:52.056)
She was so cute.
Lori (18:07.118)
Mm.
Kelli (18:15.533)
So she's I mean, she's definitely hip to it. W this is the there's only one more episode. Next week's the season finale. So we only got ten episodes. So we're seeing her see the red flags.
Lori (18:29.026)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (18:33.143)
So everybody's at the party, they're opening the presents, and at the end, Cole says, we have one more present. And then he tells everybody how they got married in Vegas. And it was time that they all had the same last name. And I think it was Tessa said, no, you didn't do that. You wouldn't take that away from your mother. And I thought, yikes, they did. And at first Christie's face was like all shock.
Lori (18:53.79)
Right. Yeah, you did.
Kelli (19:00.857)
But then she was very happy. She seemed very happy. She says at some point she lost control of her family. And then Galina and Christie are talking and she's and Galena says, Now we have to plan a reception here. And Christy's like, Yeah, we'll do something when Steven Senior gets out.
Lori (19:15.606)
And I love how they were like
Kelli (19:21.018)
did they tell her that?
Lori (19:22.32)
yeah. Yep. Yep. And I think that like made her like feel so much better 'cause I'm sure in the back of her mind she was like, If if they got married and she was there and I was not there, I I'm gonna I'm gonna have a problem.
Kelli (19:24.149)
my god.
Kelli (19:36.944)
So I didn't even realize Galena wasn't there and I didn't hear anybody say that, but I I I'm kind of glad they made that decision because I agree if they had Galina there and not Christy, that would have been bad. Yeah. so then, you know, at the end it's just Tessa and Christy still there. And Tessa says she's been with the McBee family for a long time and it means everything to her that they include her in all these events.
Lori (19:41.452)
Yeah, they said it to her. I forget who said it to her. yeah.
no. Yeah. That would have been bad. Yeah.
Kelli (20:06.179)
I love Tessa. Yeah. She's a great part of the show. Like not, you know, doesn't doesn't want a big part, but love seeing her. So Casey pull so while Tessa and Chrissy are still there with Blair, Casey pulls Cole into the bathroom and tells him that his presence in there. And of course it's the pregnancy test. And he asks her, Are you pregnant? And she's like, Yeah. He seemed very stunned, but he was okay with it. I mean he
Lori (20:06.382)
She's awesome. Yeah, I was gonna say she's awesome. Yeah.
Lori (20:14.22)
Right.
Lori (20:35.38)
Mm. Yeah.
Kelli (20:35.819)
handled it unless this was just production and he had already known. You think?
Lori (20:39.414)
Well, listen, this this is the thing. Th n nobody in the world is gonna do their pregnancy tests on TV and nobody in the world is gonna surprise their husband with the results on T V. N no. No.
Kelli (20:58.071)
I don't know if I'm just naive, but I feel like with this show, they just might. Like I really thought Allie McBee's reaction was authentic, genuine. Maybe Casey already knew, but I feel like we really did see Allie's true reaction. Maybe not Cole, though. I think you're right. With Cole, I think he already knew. He played it off well.
Lori (21:04.086)
Really?
Lori (21:12.641)
Right.
Lori (21:18.39)
I mean I I mean think I mean think about that. Your husband wouldn't be like
Kelli (21:26.226)
my my husband would lose his ever loving mind if I ever did that to him.
Lori (21:29.556)
W that's what I'm saying. Like that's I I I don't know about that. Right, right. It would not be a non issue. But I'm just saying, like that's I don't know.
Kelli (21:31.549)
lose his mind. He would never be on camera, so I wouldn't even have the chance.
Yeah. He says he wanted to wait a little longer. Well, it was kind of up to you, Bud. Like, wrap it up, pull out, do what you do whatever you gotta do. You didn't do it.
Lori (21:48.994)
Yep. There's Umbrella it. Yep.
Right. Right.
Kelli (21:58.736)
So then we're at Steven Junior's house and Allie's packing up because she's going to Texas, right? She's going back down to Texas. And Allie says the situation is tough for her and she loves Steven, but it's been a whirlwind and she needs a second to digest it again. Couldn't get out of there fast enough. I think she saw a side of him that made her nervous and she was like, I g I gotta I gotta withdraw a little bit. Yes, exactly.
Lori (22:24.514)
Yeah. Exit stage right. Yeah.
Kelli (22:29.445)
She's hoping the move in space will help them slow down and get to know each other better. And then Steven Jr. in his confessional says the smarter move would have been to move slower and not be so hot and heavy in the beginning. He's nervous. He's not going to hear from her. And she might meet someone else because she's traveling to all these cities. And when he said the thing about, you know, there's gonna be guys there that aren't like me and she might like that better, to me that was such like a
Lori (22:43.169)
Yes, Mike.
Kelli (22:58.327)
He almost sounded like a little kid. I felt bad for him. I actually felt bad for him.
Lori (23:00.718)
absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. He's so highly insecure. So insecure. Because look, if you're with somebody and what you have is the real deal, it doesn't matter how many cities she travels to. It doesn't matter how many guys she meets because it's the real deal and you both feel the same way about each other. It's like when I dated my husband for five years and
Kelli (23:08.099)
Yes.
Kelli (23:18.178)
Exactly.
Lori (23:30.166)
I only saw him on the weekends and people would say, aren't you like what what what's what what's he doing on the during the week? I'm like, I don't know. It's but what whatever he does, it it has nothing to do with me. Like, whatever is gonna happen is gonna happen. Whatever he's gonna do, he's gonna do. That has nothing to do with me. Like, if it's gonna work out, it's gonna work out. If he's gonna cheat on me, he's gonna cheat me. Yeah.
Nothing I can do about that. Like, so I'm not even gonna I'm busy. I'm working, I was going to college. I'm like, I don't have time for all that. Like, whatever that it what whatever that's gonna be is gonna be. Like that I know. So it all and it all has to do with your your self confidence too. Like if you know
Kelli (24:04.772)
Yeah.
Kelli (24:10.723)
Yeah, no, Eric and I too. We lived an hour away from each other the first year we dated.
Kelli (24:29.539)
Yeah. And again, I when I say I feel bad for him, I felt bad for him in that moment. I I do not condone those text messages that he sent her. And I do think that she I do think that he must have some kind of I don't want to say anger issue. Like I don't know. I don't know. But he's got something that she saw. But I don't I don't really know if he does have anger issues. I've seen we've seen him his personality kind of flip real quick, but you know.
Lori (24:45.25)
Dude, listen, you can say anger issue. You yeah.
Lori (24:57.144)
But this is the thing. You
Kelli (24:59.097)
I guess you have to have anchor issues if you're sending those kinds of text messages. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Lori (25:02.316)
what I'm saying. Yeah. That's not that's not normal behavior for a thirty year old man. That is behavior for like a fourteen year old boy. It's not it's not adult behavior. So he's n
Kelli (25:08.269)
Right. Right.
Kelli (25:13.645)
Right. Yeah, no, you're right.
Kelli (25:19.447)
No, so then the boys are at the farm, it's snowing, it's two degrees out, and there's five inches of snow on the ground, and today's the day they're supposed to do the embryo transfer. I mean, that does really suck. Exactly. So they may not be able to do it because of the weather, but you know, and of course the boys are really nervous. They're like, We really like, you know, time is at the essence here with the money thing. So
Lori (25:30.798)
Yeah, they got a Frankin Frankenstein the cows.
Lori (25:44.174)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (25:48.676)
And then it looks like they can do it. So it was quite like it was quite a process. Like they it was it was really like a like a cattle line. Like they'd walk the ki the cow up and then inject them. Like I would imagine though, like yeah, like I I can't imagine getting a cow.
Lori (25:57.518)
Mm.
Lori (26:01.614)
Turkey bay, stir it up.
Kelli (26:08.761)
To be like docile enough to get that done. Cause you're not putting them out. The the the the thing was st you know, the animal was standing there, like standing with Steven. Like I don't know. That looked like some kind of process.
Lori (26:18.38)
Right. Right. Right.
I I don't know. Yeah.
There nothing I wanna know about, I'm telling you right now.
Kelli (26:27.525)
All right, well then let's move on from that scene. Steven Junior's at Christy's house and they're playing with Blair and he tells Christy that he dropped Allie off. Wait, but I thought we saw him drop her off, didn't we?
Lori (26:30.924)
Yeah, not an I want.
Lori (26:44.672)
Yeah, he dropped her off at the airport.
Kelli (26:47.617)
I don't have that written down. I was kinda like I was kind of being very, you know just not so detailed, you know? All right, so when he did drop her off though, you could tell he was upset. She did not seem upset.
Lori (26:54.36)
Blase about your notes. Yeah, there's no need for it.
Lori (27:03.165)
Mm, mhm.
Lori (27:07.094)
No, she was like, I gotta go.
Kelli (27:10.661)
Peace out, Boy Scout. So he tells Christy, so we're at Christy's house. Steven Jr. tells her that he dropped Allie off and it was supposed to be three or four days and it turned into 60. Is that what he said? It turned into two months. Yeah. That's not good. and he says with Allie moving back to Texas, he might be going to Texas, at least for part of the year. Like not like a straight six months, but like half the year.
Lori (27:12.77)
Yeah. Yeah.
Lori (27:26.04)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (27:39.321)
He's telling her he might be doing that.
Lori (27:39.842)
That's but that's just like some like desperation move. No, I'm sure I am quite sure that she would want
Kelli (27:45.411)
Well the thing is is did she ask you to come down to Texas?
He's like when her lease is up with her sister, we're gonna move in together. It's like, have you discussed this with her? Does she know this?
Lori (27:55.274)
No, it's see it's it it's all the shit is in his own mind. Like he believes his own bullshit, that's the problem. Like he just thinks
Kelli (27:58.637)
Yeah.
Lori (28:06.254)
And he just I think he thinks of this shit and then just acts like everyone should know exactly what he's thinking without him saying anything and then is all stupefied when nobody's with his program. It's like
Kelli (28:20.887)
And honestly, you see the way Christy looks at him, like we've all done it with our kids where we know deep down it's like, That's not r what's really going on. And she I think she knows it, like deep down, she knows like this chick is not coming back. Like
Lori (28:36.77)
Right, right.
Kelli (28:38.361)
But she must at some point though, because wherever they were that weekend that prompted those text messages, they were together. I don't know if it was Coachella or something else. They were together and he had to leave to come back to work and she stayed, and that's what prompted the whole thing. Again, not defending his actions. he says he doesn't want to have resentment when he's older that he was held captive at the farm.
Lori (28:53.816)
Right.
Kelli (29:05.135)
He's gonna fur for the first time choose his personal life over the farm.
Lori (29:09.654)
okay. How about when you were like d that's such a line of bullshit. How about when he did like kooky shit? Like his dad just went to prison and he went and go picked up this chick. No stop.
Kelli (29:22.615)
Exactly. No, I I I totally agree with you. I think that Steven Jr. says things that are only in his favor. He twists things in his mind. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. he's talking about marrying her and getting their own place in Texas and Christy says it's gonna be hard and I have reservations, but I'll always support I mean, we can tell that by her.
Lori (29:32.032)
I think that they're only in his own mind. In his mind. Absolutely. Yeah. Absolutely.
Kelli (29:52.08)
So then we see Jesse's at he and Allie's farmhouse and then Steven Jr., Cole and Braden all show up and they're there too. And Jesse's making changes to the house so Allie will be more comfortable up there and he's doing this to show her that he cares. So at least we know why when she was like he takes off to the farmhouse for three days at a time. Now at least it kind of makes sense. He at least he was there doing work, or we ho you know, I'm assuming that's
Lori (30:18.646)
Right, right. Hope so, yeah.
Kelli (30:21.401)
What he was doing. So that's good, right?
Cole tells him that he's having another baby. And then Steven Jr. says he's made the decision that he's most likely moving to Texas. And I you know, it's funny because I feel like Jesse is just he has so much on his mind, but just can't say it, which is a reflection with his his relationship with his brothers and obviously Allie. But he's saying, like in his confessional, like,
Lori (30:50.382)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (30:52.963)
The timing's bad. We just got these highlands. We got you know, but it's like, tell your brother that.
Lori (30:56.536)
Right.
Absolutely, yeah. Why wouldn't ya? Right. Right. Right. Right.
Kelli (31:00.825)
You know, like, dude, you can't dip out again, like you did when we went to sell the cattle at that thing. Like, you can't dip out.
Kelli (31:11.491)
You know, he does say they all want Steven Junior to be happy, but the timing's not great with everything going on.
And Cole says if Steven Junior's leaving then he he just needs to let me take over. Which that's the problem too though. Steven Junior is definitely a control freak and I don't see him doing that. He's not gonna let anybody take over, but you can't not if you're not gonna be there.
Lori (31:28.62)
Yes. No. No.
Right.
Kelli (31:36.325)
now we have Jake looking for engagement rings for Tegan, which if we don't get another season and we don't get to see Jake and Tegan get married, I'm gonna be really upset because I really love these two. And
Lori (31:49.856)
Yeah. And you know what was so gross about that?
Kelli (31:54.285)
I think I know what you're gonna say.
Lori (31:56.194)
This poor guy who's got like this a minor role wants to go and do something he's gotta like hog it up. He's gotta steal the whole f fucking scene. Hijacked the whole scene. I was like, ew
Kelli (32:07.941)
Steven Jr. totally hijacked the whole thing. Yes. Yep. I knew that's what you were gonna say. Yes, it was ridiculous.
Lori (32:15.52)
Right? It's true. It was rude. I was like, You're such a dick.
Kelli (32:21.699)
And then he says Allie's first engagement ring was a hundred and fifty K. Who cares?
Kelli (32:30.563)
So at least at least we end that scene with Jake moving forward and getting Teague in the ring.
Lori (32:36.64)
And at least Stephen doesn't get.
Kelli (32:39.629)
Right. Right.
Casey's at the fulfillment center and says she and Steven haven't really been around Steven hasn't really been around and nothing has been resolved and they're both probably just avoiding each other at this point. So
Lori (32:55.298)
And it's amazing how okay, now you're on a whole nother episode.
Nobody's talking about the alley thing.
Lori (33:06.466)
That you said you y you would case you were in a pla like where'd that go? Where'd that go? Pick up the rug, sweep it on the Hey, come on. Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (33:10.851)
Yep. Yep. And nobody's brought it up to Allie yet. Nobody's brought it up to Jesse. Like no we're not we're just not talking about it. So I think Wendy might be right. Like Steven Jr. might have just made that shit up. And that's why Cole was like, Yeah, it's stupid. Cause he's probably like, You lying.
Lori (33:27.756)
Yeah, I don't even know what that was about. Mm-hmm.
Kelli (33:32.164)
Yeah. while Casey's at the fulfillment center, Cole brings Blair. Steven Junior calls him and tells him to step away so Casey can't hear him. He says they got a letter from the bank regarding the loan on the land on his house. The the the property that his house is on, not the physical construction. Not that it matters. they're pulling the loan.
Lori (33:54.254)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (34:00.506)
So they have to pay it off in full.
Lori (34:00.674)
That's what I'm saying. You know that you have all this stuff going on. You know that your brother has a wife and a child and has a home on the land that it could be called in at any second, but yet you're gonna go dump sixty grand like on twenty thousand dollar pets that
Kelli (34:27.801)
Well, I have something else I could add to that though. Cole also knew that this was happening and he went and spent what thirty-five or fifty thousand on a ring. How much was Casey's ring? They that girl does not need to be walking around. You want to get that for her down the road? That girl does not need a thirty-five thousand dollar engagement ring on her hand when you might be losing your house. If you got it like that, great.
Lori (34:28.315)
Like it just does it makes no sense.
Lori (34:41.782)
Right. Yeah, I don't even know.
Lori (34:47.843)
Right.
Lori (34:52.054)
Not right. That's what I'm saying. Like I I almost call bullshit on the whole entire thing. Like I'm no mathematician. Well the whole the whole show. Like I'm no mathematician, but y your people's math is not mathing.
Kelli (35:01.485)
Yeah. How much the ring cost?
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (35:11.287)
No, I agree with you. I agree with you.
Lori (35:13.586)
Just like and you know, I I don't know, and then they say, we're not coming back and I'm thinking to myself, I don't know, people, but y I think you need the dough. I know I know that I know that they don't spend that they don't make a lot from Bravo, but what they do get is exposure for all their other products.
Kelli (35:26.681)
I think you're right. And I
Kelli (35:33.83)
Mm-hmm. So that was the end of this episode. And like I said, next week is the season finale. I saw clips from the season finale next week. So you saw Christy go see Galena and basically tell her, buckle down. Stop jet setting all over the place with Bravo people. And then now they're talking about selling the car washes. And poor Braden's like, yo, like this is my thing. Why are we getting rid of them?
Lori (35:42.486)
Yeah, I saw some clips too.
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Mm.
Lori (35:53.582)
Mm.
Lori (36:04.012)
You know why? Coles because Coles thinking to himself, Well, you need to sell some stuff so I don't lose my house. That's what he's thinking.
Kelli (36:12.355)
Right. Right, but Braden's like I'm not the farm one. I'm not the farm kid. I'm the city kid and I want to stay at the car washes.
Lori (36:18.262)
Right.
Lori (36:21.686)
Right. But I think again, there's there's compromise. They own a shit ton of them, nine or something. So keep six, sell three, g pay off the loan so Cole doesn't have to
Kelli (36:35.566)
I think
Kelli (36:39.831)
I think the point of them selling it is selling the the whole comp the whole McBee car wash. Yeah. Not selling off, you know. I know. It'll be interesting. I can't believe it's the season finale already though.
Lori (36:48.088)
Thing. Yeah, I don't I don't
Lori (36:58.016)
I'm just gonna sit home, look at my shop right flyer, and figure out how I'm gonna spend my food budget for the week and I'm not gonna worry about twenty thousand dollar Highland cows or mortgages being called in and just I'll be good.
Kelli (37:10.787)
Right. Right.
Yeah. Totally agree with.
Lori (37:18.419)
Buy some chicken breast on sale and I'll be fine.
Kelli (37:22.499)
Yeah, I don't I don't know. I are they living beyond their means? Do they really got it like that? Do th I I don't know.
Lori (37:29.206)
I I don't know. It's just it's just all messed up. And like I said, I'm no mathematician, but whatever math you guys got going on is not making sense to me. So I don't know. We'll see.
Kelli (37:36.825)
Yeah. It's not math.
Yeah, agreed.
Kelli (37:45.252)
Well, we only got one more episode to go, so thank you for watching and listening and please comment, engage. We love it. Have a good night, guys. Bye.
Lori (37:48.088)
So awesome.
Lori (37:54.722)
Yes, thank you. Good night.
